I care (Oliver Sykes Love Story) part 18

"Hurry your arse up."

"Will you shut up I'm trying to calm down." I yelled from the hall.

Oliver clambered down the stairs and stopped half way. He looked quite pissed. "Really? right now? you had 2 days to calm the fuck down and you chose this day." He zipped up his jeans and came down the stairs.

I didn't want to argue. I was scared shit. I'm putting our lives in danger again and what if we weren't lucky this time. I closed my eyes and tried to slow down my breathing. My heart was pounding so fast I wouldn't be surprised if it exploded. My body isn't fully recovered yet. And I'm certain his wasn't either.

"Aria..." he sighed and walked towards me. "What are you doing on the floor?" 

I didn't respond. He sat on the floor with me, in the middle of the living room and pulled me into his arms.

"We made it the last time, and we'll make it this time." He said and kissed the top of my head.

"What if we don't"

"We will."

"How can you be so sure?" I moved away from him and frowned at him.

He shrugged. "Knowing us, I know we will." 

I rolled my eyes and pushed myself off the floor. "You're delusional" 

"Look." he huffed as he got off the floor. "We'll make it. We just have to stop her, that's all. Nothing is going to happen."  

"Yeah well what if-"

"No more, no what ifs. We'll make it, end of story."

He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. "Now, can we leave?" 

Soon, we were off to that damn beach.

We both got out of the jeep and walked down the beach. Frido's beach wasn't all that. Don't know who it was even named after. But it was huge. Really, huge.

It was about 8.30pm and weirdly, the beach was empty. It didn't even look like an aftermath of a gathering. It was so quiet. The cold wind brushed against us and I wrapped my cardigan around me. 

"Where's everyone?" Oli asked. "We're not too early, are we?"

I scanned the beach and not a single soul was in sight. I knew it wasn't real. I was right, it was a trap. The fucking hollow moon night was a load of bullshit. I didn't want to say it out to get him worked up but I had a feeling he knew it too.

And then it hit me. "Wait then what about Jade and Jesse?" I asked.

Oliver opened his mouth to say something but got cut off when the sound of gun shots appeared from no where. We both ducked immediately. Holy shit.

"What the fuck." He exclaimed.

 "Jade..." I whispered. No, no that can't be. Please, please not Jade.

"JADE!" I screamed for her and was in the midst of sprinting towards the direction of the forest that was right beside the beach when I felt Oliver's arms around my waist, pulling me back.

"no you can't go there!" 

"JADES IN THERE"

I struggled out his hold but it was no use. He tackled me onto the sand and held me there.

"Jade..jade shes in-" words failed me and I sobbed.

"Aria, please" he cupped my face with his hands. "Shhhh, shhh she's okay, shes okay it isnt her" his voice broke.
