Jack smiled at the camera. "Top o' the mornin' to ya, laddies! My name is JackSepticeye, and welcome to Undertale! I've been wanting to play this game for a while now- pretty much ever since I first heard about it. It seems awesome, it looks awesome, and the soundtrack is amazing, I love it so much. Anyway, let's get to the game!"

He turned his attention to the screen, but it was black. He clicked multiple times, but nothing happened. Suddenly, yellow fog swirled around him, encasing him until it was all he could see. He closed his eyes, and the fog picked him up out of the chair.

In a couple of minutes, it stopped. Jack opened his eyes and realized he was laying on a patch of white flowers. He looked at himself and saw that he was wearing a blue and purple sweatshirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.

He stood up, looking around, until spotting a doorway. He walked towards it curiously, peeking inside. A lone flower was in the center of the dark room. Jack slowly stepped towards it.

The flower perked up, smiling at him. "Howdy! I'm Felix. Felix the Flower!"

Felix looked Jack up and down. "Hmmm... you're new to the Underground, aren'tcha?" He laughed. "Golly, you must be so confused. Someone ought to teach you how things work around here! I guess little old me will have to do. Ready? Here we go!"

A red heart appeared in front of Jack. "Okay..." He trailed off, confused and slightly scared.

Felix still smiled. "See that heart?" He gestured to it. "That is your soul, the very culmination of your being!"

Jack smiled. "Yay! I always knew I had a soul."

Felix just laughed. "Yes, that's right! Your soul starts off weak, but can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV."

Jack tilted his head. "Level?"

Felix shook his head. "No- It's love! You want some love, don't you?"

Jack laughed. "Don't we all?"

"Don't worry, I'll share some with you!" Felix winked. "Down here, love is shared through..." He trailed off, thinking. "Little white... 'friendliness pellets.'" Jack chuckled nervously, suddenly afraid of the flower.

Felix shot out white pellets, and they moved towards Jack. "Are you ready? Move around! Get as many as you can!"

Jack moved to get one, but was instantly harmed. He looked down, noticing a bar under the heart. Next to the bar said "HP: 1/20". He felt weak and fell to his knees. "You lied to me!"

Jack looked back up at Felix, who had a maniacal grin on his face. "You idiot. In this world, It's kill or be killed. Why would anyone pass up an opportunity like this?!" Jack was surrounded by the white pellets. He widened his eyes at Felix, who laughed. "Die."

The pellets moved towards him. Jack tried screaming for help, but no sound came out of his throat. He looked desperately for a way to escape, but there wasn't one.

Suddenly, he felt an immense amount of strength. He looked at the health bar, which read "HP: 20/20". He looked up as saw Felix get hit by a fireball. Felix was knocked out of sight.

A woman walked in front of Jack, staring at the direction Flowey went. "What a terrible creature." She said softly. "Torturing such a poor, innocent youth." She looked at Jack. "Ah, do not be afraid, my child. I am Minx, caretaker of the Ruins. I pass through this place every day to see if anyone has fallen down."

Jack sighed, standing up. "Thank you for helping me."

"You are welcome, young one." She smiled. "You are the first human to come down here in a long time. Come! I will guide you through the catacombs." The heart and the GO bar went away. "This way." Minx walked to a doorway on the wall, different than the one Jack entered through.

Jack stayed behind, thinking things through. "So, straight away, do not trust anything you see. Got it."

"Are you coming?" Minx called out. Jack rushed towards the doorway, walking through.
