AN: Oh hey this is a oneshot of my OC Shou and Eimi (: I'm sorry for the weird wording, grammar and whatnot >w<;; hope you will enjoy this story~

Shou glanced at his watch nervously. Alright, I'm on time, he thought to himself and waited for his date to arrive.

"Chisukeki-saaaaan!" His ears picked up the familiar voice and turned to find the source of it. He saw a girl with short teal hair running towards him, panting slightly when she reached him. "Ah, Niji-san," he replied nervously, followed by a small smile. The teal haired girl, Niji Eimi, was repeatedly saying sorry to Shou for her tardiness, but Shou just smiled.

"It's alright," he chuckled, "I didn't wait that long anyway." Eimi sighed in relief. "Ehee, thank goodness~ Ah, Chisukeki-san, let's go to that restaurant!" She said as she pointed at an outdoor cafe a few hundred metres away from them. Shou nodded his head in agreement and followed her. When they arrived, they went to find a spot to sit.

Once they were seated, the waiter gave them a menu and as Eimi was reading it, Shou took that time to check out Eimi. She was wearing a cute pink bow and a nice pastel green summer dress. She looks even cuter than usual.....he thought, and he felt a blush creeping up to him. Quickly, he held up the menu and shielded his face from her, mentally beating himself for having those kind of thoughts.

"uh, Chisukeki-san?" Eimi asked with concern. Shou peeked at her from the side of the menu, and stuttered, "yes?" he blushed a little as he was looking at Eimi. Her green eyes seem to have put some kind of spell on him, encapturing him and making him lose his cool.

"A-are you afraid of me?" she asked, looking a little concerned. As soon as he heard her question, he accidentally slammed down the menu, and blushed even harder. "Sorry! uh, no, uhm, I was, uh, a little bit-"

"-nervous?" she giggled at him, before touching Shou's hand gently. "Don't be. We're on a date to enjoy, right?" she smiled at him, making Shou's heartbeat quicken a little, before calling for the waiter to order.

"New york cheesecake and pear juice please," Shou told the waiter, and glanced at Eimi. She looked up and noticed Shou lookinng at her. "Ah, sorry, I won't be ordering," she told the waiter with a sheepish smile. Shou tilted his head in puzzlement. " Are you going on a diet?" he asked her. She laughed and shook her head. "I just...forgot to bring my purse. Ehehe.."

Ah, this is the part where I can be chivalrous to Niji-san!

"uhm, Niji-san, I can pay for your part of the bill," Shou told Eimi quietly. She stared at him for a moment before smiling and nodding her head, and proceeded to order a slice of tiramisu cake and hot chocolate. "Thank you very much, Chisukeki-san!" Shou just nodded his head and smiled in acknowledgement.

Whilst waiting for their dessert to arrive, the two did not speak a word. Eimi looked at Shou, hoping that he would start a conversation or something, but Shou was looking at the scenery around the cafe, and he doesn't seem all that bothered with what Eimi felt like an awkward silence between the two of them. While Shou was busy admiring the scenery, she stole a glance at his slim, slightly lanky body. He was wearing a black tank top and what seemed like a pair of maroon bermudas.

Having enough of the silence, Eimi decided to be the first to speak. "Uhm, Chisukeki-san...do you like any kind of animals?"

Shou turned to look at Eimi and pondered over her question. "Well, I like......cats, I guess. Pretty solitary creatures that are independent.." he glanced at Eimi, who seemed to be listening to him enthusiastically. "What about you?" He asked, after a while.

Without a moment's hesitance, Eimi started talking how she couldn't choose between rabbits and chameleons, and soon the conversation moved and they soon started talking about various subjects, like music and games. Shou was surprised that Eimi actually liked to play tactical rpg games, just like him. They chatted for a good hour before the waiter approached them with the bill.

Eimi looked at the bill, and glancecd at Shou whilst smiling sheepishly. "Sorry, Chisukeki-san, I'll treat you to something next time!" Shou simply waved it off as the rummaged in his wallet for notes.

"It's okay. uh.....besides, y-you can call me...Shou.." he replied, his voice growing softer towards the end. He slapped a few notes on top of the bill before standing up and waited for Eimi by the exit door. Soon, Eimi stood up, and followed suit.

Once the two of them were outside, they stood opposite each other, avoiding eye contact. A few awkward minutes passed before Eimi couldn't take the awkwardness any longer and yet again, decided to be the first to speak.

"Uh, Chisuke-- ah, I mean, S-sh-shou-kun," she started, looking up at Shou a little bit shyly, fidgeting with her fingers. Shou, upon hearing his name being called, looked at her, his cheeks a little bit red. This in turn, made Eimi blush a slight bit harder.

"Uh...if it's okay with you Shou-kun, c-could we...m-maybe..g-go out? Like a c-c-couple?"  She squeezed her eyes shut, a little bit frightened with his answer.

Shou's eyes widened at what she said. Did....Niji-san..asked me out?! W-what do I say? This is so uncool....I should have confessed to her first!

After a moment, Shou opened his mouth to give an answer, but nothing came out, as if his mouth has forgotten how to operate. Then, at the spur of the moment, he dived in gand gave her a quick hug, before releasing, blushing harder than before. He looked away from Eimi and replied yes in such a small voice Eimi had to strain her ear to catch what he said.

Eimi covered her mouth in surprise, blushing hard, before she knew it, her body reacted faster than she thought and hugged Shou back. "P-please call me by my first name too, Shou-kun," she said, her voice muffled by Shou's shirt. Shou looked down at Eimi, before smiling softly.

"Alright, Eimi-chan."
