Kim Namjoon! No! out of all the people it had to be him, I slyly walk back into the staff room as I think about what just happened. I slouch down in my chair and slowly wither away. My life is over, the trust I've been building up until now will soon go down the drain.

Jieun steps in the room for a rest until she sees the misery that is me in front of her, "AAAHHHHHHH! Chief! There is something strange on the floor!!" Jieun screams.

"What? What happened?" The Chief asked, "Oh, Mimi ssi! Are you ok?"

"Oh it was Mimi..." Jieun

"You're excused from work, Mimi, go home and rest." The chief told me as she pushed me out of the cafe. "Be careful Mimi!"

"Oh you're dressed normally now." Namjoon said.

"W-what?! What do you want?" I asked him while closing the staff door.

"Huh? Nothing, really. I just wanted to make sure," Namjoon responded as he suddenly started stretching, "So that maid was really the prez...Why are you working at a place like this?"

I then hear the door starting to open, to be safe I dragged Namjoon to somewhere where no one could see us together.

"Oh, family problems... Are things that rough?" Namjoon asked

"Yeah." I responded

"So that's why you are working at a maid cafe in a neighbouring town. Couldn't you have done some labour work near home?" He asked.

"I don't have that kind of stamina, I can't let my grades drop so I couldn't manage both." I stated.

"Must be rough," He said as the night wind blew across our faces, "So the reason you attend Yuhwa High school despite hating guys...Is because tuition is low?"

"I guess..." I responded, I can't tell what this guy is thinking.

"I see... My sympathies." He said.

Later, he stated walking me home. It is dead silent, but not awkward... I kind of like him being with me, he makes me very calm.

"Bye Namjoon." I spoke, and he just shrugs his shoulders as he walks away.

I go into my room and start doing my homework intently. I refuse to let something like this let me down... Making me lose the trust I've been building up until now. I stare uncomfortably at my paper and grip hardly on the pencil. I refuse... I sigh as I look over the numerous quadratic equations I have to solve. I've got a rough road ahead of me.
