*Matt's POV*

-four months later-

"No Valary, I cannot and will not allow that!", I said angrily while tossing my boxershorts into my suitcase.

"We are talking about a nineteen year old girl, that is in her last year of highschool! The fact they're together is one thing, but he wants to take her with on tour! She's going to miss school for a while and she is fucking nineteen! Brian is thirty-six! She could be his daughter! And he brought her into the studio before girlfriend party time! It seems he completely stopped thinking rationally!"

I felt two arms hugging me from the back.

"You need to calm down, Mattie...Brian really seems to care for her."

"How can I calm down if I have to take responsibility for a teenage girl on tour with a rockband?! Who looks after her if Brian decides to get drunk?! What if she leaves him when she sees the ugly side of touring?! What if the press comes and puts pressure on them?!"
"Don't think about the what if's, Matt...it's Brian's business."
I knew, she only wanted to help me get my head clear, but I just didn't react on her trying to calm me down.

"Brian was in jail, accused of abusing his wife! And now he's got a girlfriend, almost twenty years younger than he is! You know the press, you know what they said after Jimmy's death, you know how they hated on Brian, you know how they accuse us of cheating if we take pictures with female friends! Listen Val, I like his girl, I really do. And I don't want any hurt to happen to her or Brian."
Exhaustedly, I let myself fall onto our bed, Val sat beside me and took my hand.
"Brian seems to be in love with her head over heels. He just became clean...you and I know what happens if they break up. And also she's way too young to deal with something like this..."

*flashback, the day of the studio party*

"Guys, meet my girlfriend Clary. Clary, meet Matt, Zacky, Johnny and Brooks.", Brian said.

For a second we all stood there in shock, before I smiled and hugged her.

"Brian, can we talk for a second?", I whispered in his ear.

"Matt and I are just gotta get the beer from the back", he said and we went in the separate room.

"Are you now completely insane?! Girlfriend party is tonight and not here in the studio!", I whispered angrily.

"I know, I'm sorry Matt, I just wanted to introduce her to you first before she meets the family. I didn't want it all to become too much for Clary..."

He looked on his shoes, like he always does when he feels sorry.

"How old is she?"

I needed to know that. Because to me it looked like Brian was on the best way to get himself into trouble again.

"Ntn", he murmured.

"Sorry, I didn't quiet understand you."
"Nineteen, for fuck's sake!", he said louder and my jaw dropped.
