I walked into my first period classroom, already tired. My teacher turned and saw that I was the first one to enter. She pointed towards a desk towards the front. I nodded and sat in the desk quietly. I put my head down and sighed, my mother had said going to this school would be beneficial. My mother probably wanted me to go here because it had a connection to my absent father.  I was rudely jolted from my thinking by the loud obnoxious bell.  I noticed there were only nine other kids in the room, not including myself.

"Good morning, welcome to AP Mythology, also know as Supernatural 101. I am going to pass put cards and I want each of you to put your names and what type of creature you are on it," the teacher said smiling. My brow furrowed in confusion. "Also is anyone in here named Logan Adrians?" I raised my hand and she tossed a battered leather bound book towards me. I scrunched my nose at its blood filled scent. "That was left by your father for you."

"I don't have a father."

"Everyone has a father, yours is probably just dead or something," piped up some short bitch. I snorted and flipped the book open.

It was filled with fake creatures, monsters from the time before science and technology. Vampires, werewolves, elves, satyrs, centaurs, naiads, nereids, mermaids, hippocampi, etc. I sighed again and closed the stupid fairytale book. I put my head down and zoned out until the bell rang signifying the end of the period. As I was jamming the leather book into my bag, I was surrounded by three girls in the class.

"Hi I'm Cassandra, but my friends call me Cass. I'm an Elf!" said the most bubbly bitch, with a giant smile.

"I'm Caraline sometimes I let people call me Cara. I'm a vampire," the silvered haired girl said, with what was an attempt at a seductive smile.

"I don't care," I answered, slinging my bag onto my back and escaping their circle.

"We can tell. the teacher tried to get your attention six times throughout the entire period," Cass laughed.

"Cool leave me alone," I snapped back.

"I'm Mya. The three of us volunteered to help get you used to this school so no we cannot leave you alone, you're stuck with us so suck it up," the third and final bitch said, glaring at me.

"Don't. Try. To. Help. Me. I don't accept charity," I said, picking up my pace trying to escape them.

"Too bad, bitch," Mya said cheerfully back, keeping up with me. "did you already memorize your schedule?"

I chose not to answer and ducked into my second period classroom. They followed and sat neatly in a way that leaves me only one way to escape. I swore quietly under my breath and opted for doodling in my sketchbook while waiting for the teacher to enter.
