Chapter 5: Double Dates and Shakes

" really that's what you took from that " I said as Colby sat there laughing her ass off

" so your not denying it "

" I am not agreeing ether "

" ok but you said I was hot "

" yes ok fine I did call you hot but that doesn't mean I like you "

" ok I slept with you and that doesn't mean I like you nor want to like you "

" well good and also do you remember last night "

" I do but why would I tell you "

" I don't know how come you remember and I don't "

" I am not the one who downed two cups of vodka and a random drink "

" ok but you drank.... WHAIT WHAT I drank a random drink and you didn't stop me "

" why would I again " as soon as he said that I gave him a death glare and he just laughed

After he got done he tossed me my keys and walked to the kitchen. I ran upstairs to get my clothes and didn't even bother changing out of Ryder's shirt.

I was about to leave when I got a phone call.

" Hello "

" Hey princess " I froze and was almost in tears

" w..what do you want Adym " as soon as I said that Colby froze and looked at me with concern.

I didn't even let him finish before I was in tears and hung up. I ran out to my car and drove home. Once I got there I went straight to my room with Stella and sat on my bed.

Colby's POV

When she ran out the house I wanted to go after her but I know she just needs to cool of. When Ryder came back into the room his face was confused.

" what's wrong with her "

" it's none of your business " after I said that I went upstairs back to Sam

" hey are you finally done and ready to go "

" Umm yes I think so "

" good because I want to go now "

" ok ok let's go then "

Today I am going to get a dog because I feel left out and I also just want a cute dog like Stella. I hope they have some basset hounds because those are like my dream dog.

When we get there I go back to the adoption room. I walked in only to find a basset hound puppy. It's was so cute and little I just wanted to snuggle it up.

I decided to get, what turned out to be a him, it. I had already picked a name, Jack.

After I dropped Sam off I headed home so I can check on Carter. I got Jack and went inside and upstairs. When I got there I saw Carter cuddling Stella. It looked like she had been crying which didn't surprise me after what happened.

I know you are probably lost so here is the short version of what happened. When we were 15 we met these two twins who were gorgeous. Anyway that's not the point they were so nice to us in the beginning but the more we got to know them the less we liked them. One day they convinced us to do drugs and long story short we ended up in jail because they framed us for having drugs. When we got out we never talked to them again even when they tried.

All of a sudden I thought of the perfect way to cheer up Carter.

C: hey can I ask you for a favor
S: yeah what is it
C: can you help me set up a double date
S: Umm yes with who
C: me, you, Cater, and Ryder
S: if I do this I at least want to know
C: it's to cheer up Carter, so please
S: fine
