"Nice to meet you, Carly, I'm Kheagan," I introduce, embracing the red head girl. "I'm assuming you're a YouTuber," I guess with a laugh, noticing the vlog camera in her hand.
"How'd you know?" She joked, laughing.
I turn to the next girl with curly hair and a nose piercing. "Kheagan," I smile, leaning in for another hug.
"Erin," she grins, hugging me back. "Also a YouTuber with this hunty," she points to Carly and I raise my eyebrows in confusion at her nickname.
"Don't ask," Scotty says, shaking his head and chuckling.
I turn to the last girl and hug her like I did with the two others. "Kheagan, obviously," I smile.
"I'm Kristen," she pulls away with a smile.
"Let me guess, you're a You-"
She cuts me off by shaking her head. "Well... yes," she corrects and before I can ask her she continues. "I just started YouTube a couple months ago but-" she's cut off by Scotty.
"She's also my amazing and beautiful girlfriend," Scotty wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her into his side.
"Scott Glen Sire!" I yell, partly from excitement. "You mean to tell me that you've had a girlfriend all this time and never fucking told me about it!" I smack his shoulder in disbelief.
"I wanted to surprise you," he shrugs and innocently smile at me. I roll my eyes at him and let it go, understand where he's coming from.
"Dammit, I always thought I'd be the first sibling to date someone," I laugh, only half joking.
Heath looks at me, eyes wide and mouth gaping. "You've never dated anyone before?"
I shrug, not seeing his point. "I have, it's just never been too serious before. Plus Scotty usually scares the guys off," I send a dirty to my brother who wasn't paying attention to me and instead was being all couple-y with Kristen. "Why's it so surprising?"
"Have you ever looked in a fucking mirror before?" Toddy chimes in, walking out of his room, obviously ease dropping on our conversation.
I blush at his compliment. "Uh, thanks," I awkwardly laugh, unsure of what to do. I've always been bad when it came to compliments.
"It's true," Heath agrees before sharing a look with Toddy.
"Ohh, Kheagan has some eyes on her," Erin teases, filming everything.
"Ugh, guys, stop it," I fake whine, covering my red face with my hands. I absolutely despised being the center of attention.
"I hope there's not too much flirting going on with my baby sister!" Scotty calls from the couch in the living room, not bothering to move from his spot next to Kristen.
"Sorry man, we can't help that your sister is hot as fuck," Heath laughs and Toddy and the girls join in with them. I felt my face burn hotter than what I thought was even possible and I decide to dismiss myself from the situation as soon as humanly possible.
"I think I'm going to go to the bathroom," I mumble, rushing to the bathroom and locking myself in the room, feeling extremely confused. In high school I was used to all of the guys liking Monica. I was always the one that was just there. I knew I wasn't exactly unattractive, but I never thought I was conventionally attractive. I bet if Monica were here then they would be saying those things to her instead of me, I couldn't help but think.
But I shake the thoughts out of my head and use the bathroom, then fix my hair and makeup until I decide I look presentable.
When I emerge from the bathroom, everyone is huddled around the couch, watching TV.
"Finally!" Scotty teases. "Kristen and I decided to go on a little date tonight but you can go out to eat with the rest of them," he points to Heath, Carly and Erin. He said that Toddy just wanted to sleep and wasn't hungry.
"Oh, thanks for the permission, Mom," I roll my eyes playfully before agreeing. "I wanna change, though," I say before running into my room.
"Don't take all fucking night!" Heath yells which I flip him off for.
I pick out some ripped black jeans, black high top Converse and an off-the-shoulder top. I surprised myself by getting ready in less than ten minutes; it usually takes me a solid twenty minutes just to pick out an outfit. It's the typical girl thing: you look in your closet that's filled with many different tops and shirts and then complain about not having any clothes whatsoever. I think the only reason that I got dressed so quickly tonight, however, was because I needed some food in my stomach very soon.
Apparently I surprised everyone else, too, with my speedy clothing change because they all felt the need to tell me that.
"Damn girl, that was quick! I'm proud," Erin laughs, covering her heart like a proud mother. Carly mimicked her, pretending to wipe away a tear, and Kristen, not one to say much, sat there clapping.
"Are you ready now?" Heath fake grumbles, standing up from the couch. I nod my head, excited to eat.
"Bye Scott, have fun!" I hug Scott goodbye and turn to Kristen.
"It was really nice to meet you!" I gush. "I hope we hang out sometime."
"Yeah! Of course!" she agrees, giving me a hug goodbye.
"Make sure Scotty treats you well," I say. "And if he doesn't, you give me a call and I'll beat his ass."
Kristen giggles and wraps her arms around Scott's waist. "Scott always treats me well. If he didn't I would kick his ass, too," she laughs, and I didn't doubt it.
As much as it was weird seeing my big brother all mushy and caring, I had to admit that they were cute. Almost as cute as I heard David and Liza were.
"Ready?" Carly asks, holding the front door for me and smiling. I walk out of the house and to a car that I assumed was Carly or Erin's that was parked in the driveway, waving to Kristen and Scotty.
