Laughter. It was low, but everyone heard it. It was a cheerful laugher followed by an insulting comment that wasn't taken seriously.

" Hahahaha shh.. Sasuke stop it"

The class didn't mind, they rather enjoyed the laughter, it brought an joyful aura to the class like the bright windows, without those two the class would be half complete. Oddly, even all the teachers didn't mind it, as they enjoyed it as well.

Another small giggle.

You could tell the blonde male was trying to hold in his laughter by muffled sounds that followed.

The bell suddenly rang, ending class and school for the day.

The laughter suddenly got louder along with a dark chuckle. Class ended so the pair could laugh louder without getting in trouble.

At the back of the class, sharing a table were no other than the teens Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Who were once enemies are now best friends.

They were in fact looking at a photo together underneath the table, of Naruto himself who the camera captured at the right moment as he was gonna slip on pavement with Sasuke photobombing Naruto behind wearing a smug face with a smirk forming as he realised Naruto was gonna fall.

But they both laughed at Naruto's face as Naruto looked frightened as hell in the photo with his eyes widened and his mouth formed into an oval as just before he slipped he was talking.

" Naruto, Sasuke hurry up, I have to lock the Classroom "

Both of them at the same time looked up at Kakashi sensei who stood at the door after all the other students left, waiting for the two males to get up and leave.

" Coming!" Naruto stood up from their desk along with Sasuke who wasn't happy with Kakashi interrupting them.

They both left the classroom, smiling and laughing at the photo as they went down to their lockers, and the halls and reaching outside.

But not quite reaching home....

" That was pretty funny, wasn't it? Sasuke "

They were both walking home from a long day at school, taking a short cut in the field of trees.They were best friends after fall and almost found the same things funny.

Naruto had his two arms crossed behind his back, the orange bag he wore dragging him down a bit.

Sasuke walked close beside him, with his hands in his pocket. The dark blue almost black bag never bothering him as he walked.

" Hn, yes, it was " He answered.

There were times when Sasuke cared and listened to Naruto but right now wasn't the time.
Naruto almost stuck out his tongue but kept it in as they kept walking.

They lived very close to each other, in fact, they only lived a couple of houses away so they always went to each other's houses.

Naruto kicked a pebble away as he walked and Sasuke stared at the space in front of him, glancing now and than at the bored Naruto.

It was peaceful until;

BANG!BANG!BANG!

It was loud. It hurt Naruto's ears as well as Sasuke's. They both closed their eyes and moved back a bit from the loud noise. It was close. Too close.
