my young cousin/isn't as young/as i thought she was/how old/can you get/before someone older/calls you an adult?/it's a question/i ask myself daily/for i barely am one myself/but i am a baby/in their eyes/naive and innocent/the epitome of sweet cream/it is me/it is her/jumping on a bouncy ball/eating different pizza/a different pie/from the home of the real italian pizza/authenticity/she still can't tolerate vegetables/after all/she is a baby/she is four/i am so old/but so young/inexperienced but wistful/of what i once was/what does she think/about herself/last week?/does she smile/remembering her last birthday/as i have/for years?/do i/myself/remember being like her?/was i ever/this cute/this sweet/this young/this bright?
