Just in case you didnt realise, Jen and Josh are in Senior year, their last year in high school. This means they are 17-18.

P.O.V Jennifer

The last few weeks have gone by so quickly. I have actually enjoyed going to school. Obviously, this is because I now am officially with Josh Hutcherson and he makes my life so much brighter. That is so cliche but it's, fortunately, true. Jena and Max have been weirdly off with me at the moment. I don't act any different. Its probably because I have been with Josh more often at school, and as the days go on I'm getting more and more attached to him.

Today is the day me and Josh will be going to a theme park. I generally love rides but I'm not sure about Josh. He keeps seeming over-confident about going. Josh has also invited some of his friends to join us. Its going to be such a great day with Josh and the others.

A knock at my bedroom door made me almost jump out of my skin. "Yeah?" I sighed as I stood from my bed. Mum edged into the room holding the clothes she had ironed for me. "Oh, thanks mum."

"Your welcome. Who is going on this little trip then?" Mum asked settling down on my desk chair.

"Josh, Liam, Emily, Zach, James, Scott...Oh and Nicholas" I replied trying to remember everyone. I nodded in approval as I went over the names again in my head.

"Nicholas is going? That's great... Why didn't you invite Jena and Max though?" Mum quizzed looking a bit annoyed with me.

"They didn't want to come... Jena said that she had to revise for a science test and Max said he had soccer" I replied and rolled my eyes. Why was my mum being so weird? Obviously, I invited Max and Jena. They're my best friends, but I cant make them come with me if they have things to do.

"Okay, well just remember they are your friends and they have been since you started school" Mum tried reminding me before walking back out of the room. I slammed the slightly open door behind her angrily. I heard her grumble something as she walked away but it wasn't clear enough for me to care.

I grabbed my purse and shot downstairs. "Bye mum! I've gotta go. Love you" I yelled through the house before I darted out of the house. I looked ahead at the car that awaited for my arrival. Josh was sitting in the drivers seat. Emily and Liam sat in the back and the other guys, I assumed, are meeting us there.

"Hey, beautiful" Josh winked as I opened the car door. I slotted into my seat and shuffled around until I was comfortable. Josh leaned over and kissed my cheek.

"Hey, babe" I said to Josh and turned to look at the others in the back of the car. "Hiya, Emily... Liam."

Josh began driving away from my house and hit the main road. The music from the radio was all I could hear, along with Liam's loud singing. He wasn't too bad at singing but Emily was much better. This was clearly why she picked music and dance in school.

"Guys... We're running out of fuel. Do you know if there is a gas station nearby?" Josh asked worriedly poking at the gas meter.

"There is one a few miles from here, by the strawberry fields" Liam replied looking down at his phone.

Josh looked at the gas meter again and jerked his head up. "Were not gonna make it" Josh sighed and pulled the car over. Everyone in the car groaned as the car stopped sharp.

"What do we do now?" Emily whined. I twisted round and noticed Liam pointing out the window that Emily was sitting next to. I followed his direction. Liam was pointing at the long-grassed hill with a windmill on top. Liam wants to go on a hike clearly.
