"Ohhhhh what am I going to write??? This could be our defining moment in history!!"
Marinette rests her head on her desk.
Tikki giggles.
"Maybe start small? Try starting with dear Adrien."
"Yes, you're right. Okay, here goes."
She grabs the pen and starts writing.
"Dear Adrien,
I remember when we first met. I remember not liking you very much, due to the fact that I thought you were helping Chloe put gum on my chair.
Of course now I know the truth. We've had quite a few moments, you and me. I remember the first time you talked to me after, it was raining. You explained to me what really happened, and lent me your umbrella. That was the first moment I knew that there was something between us. You've always told me the truth, Adrien, and now I think maybe I should return the favour.
I have feelings for you, Adrien.
I've like you romantically for nearly three years now. I can't bring myself to tell you this out loud because I always mess up. This is my way of doing things the right way. I just wanted to let you know, there is no pressure. Take as much time as you need to think this through.
Love,
Marinette.""I signed it! I did it! Does it seem like too much?"
Marinette holds up the letter to Tikki.
"No, I think it's just right. Now all that's left to do is give it to him. "
Tikki smiles.
Marinette grins and yawns.
"It's really late. I have school in the morning! I should get to bed. I'll put the letter in my bag now so I don't forget!"
She puts the letter in the front pocket of her bag.
"Ouuuu, I'm so nervous! I'm so excited! I want to puke!"
Tikki's eyes widen.
"Ahh I think you should get some sleep, relax before tomorrow. It's a big day!" Tikki winks.
Marinette yawns again and slides into bed.
"Goodnight Tikki."
"Goodnight Marinette."Marinette drifts off to sleep, dreaming of butterflies.
