Josh was born with the gift of speed, surprising his entire family, when he was 10 he ran a marathon and won, when he was 12 he became Speed, when he was 13 he raced his dad and won, when he was 14 he realized he was as fast as the flash if not more so, up till this day, up till now Josh's powers just keep getting stronger
When he was 7 his brother and him were playing tag on the sidewalk when they heard a cry for help just a block away so they ran to the cry and there they saw a man with a gun pointing it at the little girl as he shot the gun, his brother raced in front of the little girl saving her life, He yelled at him to stop but it was useless he risked his life for a stranger, Josh has never been the same since. His twin, half of him, his best friend was gone forever.
