*If confused with this chapter, please go back and read Chapters 14, 29, and 37 in Samantha's povs so that everything makes sense. (Chap. 37 has Samantha's pov at the beginning and end).*
Samantha's pov
As I pulled onto Kacine's property, I blew my horn. After a couple of minutes later she came out and got into my passenger side seat. "Morning, sunshine." I told her.
She sighed. "Why in the hell did I have to wake up a hour earlier than usual? And it's Friday!" She asked.
I let out a small chuckle. I told her she had to wake up a hour earlier, but I didn't tell her why. "I have to make a quick stop." I told her.
She rolled her eyes. "It better be a good quick stop, for me to wake up this damn early." She said, in annoyance. I pulled off of her driveway.
I lighty laughed. "So, are things getting better or worse with your dad and Taylor?" I asked, curiously.
"Actually, it's better. She told me something about her running into him outside of my bathroom, while I took a shower. She had some sort of conversation with him." She said.
I snickered. "You mean when she tried taking a shower with you?" I laughed.
Kacine looked at me strangely. "How'd you know that?" She asked, confused.
"She told me yesterday when we were texting." I said.
"Oh." She said, simply. "Speaking of you two texting, did Taylor answer all your questions?" She asked
I nodded my head 'yes'. "Yep, she was pretty helpful." I said, as I stopped at a gestation in a parking spot.
I turned and looked at Kacine. She had a confused expression. She looked around and then back to me. "You woke me up this morning so fuckin' early because you have to get gas?!" She asked, in disbelief.
I chuckled. "You know ever since you told me you had a crush on Taylor, you've been cursing a whole lot. And I've never heard you curse so much. But it's funny." I said, truthfully. "And no, I didn't come here for gas. I filled up my tank yesterday. And as you can see I'm in a parking space, not a gas pump." I said, making some sense.
She sighed. "Then why are we here?" She asked. Instead of telling her why, I pointed in front of us at a boy at the cash register. "A boy? Don't you have a boyfriend?" She asked.
I chuckled. Sense his back was turned to us, she couldn't really see his face. He then came out of gestation store. I unlocked my car and he got in, into the backseat. "Sup, babe." He said.
"Hey, hun." I said as I drove off the gestation area and onto the road, locking my doors back. Kacine looked at me confused. I lightly chuckled. "Kacine, this is my boyfriend George. George, this is my best friend Kacine." I introduced them. Sense Kacine doesn't know that George is gay, I have to introduce him as my boyfriend.
Kacine turned around to get a good look at him. I glanced her way and her eyes widen. "You're George?!" She asked, in disbelief.
"Yeah." George said, simply.
"B-b-but you look nothing like Mr. Nixon. Damn, you're fine! And he's old." She said, stating a fact. It was true, George didn't look nothing like his father. I guess it was because he had a different skin complexion that made them look so unlike, which added onto him being even hotter. Plus he has a much more deep voice than Mr. Nixon.
I heard him chuckle in the back seat. "Yeah, I've heard that before." He said.
"No offense, but why are you a little darker than Mr. Nixon?" She asked.
