"Have you decorated your tree yet," Elvan asked excitedly when Jonathan entered the car.

"You do realized what you just asked me,"
Jonathan stated making Elvan laugh.

"You're right which is why we're going to do that today McScrooge," Elvan said.

"Yay," Jonathan said sarcastically pulling out his phone.

"So why don't you have a car of your own," Elvan asked looking at the iPhone X from the corner of his eye.

"Because shut up," Jonathan said typing away to Luke.

"I fucking hate you; you bastard."

"Come on we have to get to know each other anyways so why don't you have a car," Elvan whined.

"Because I want to buy one full," Jonathan said.

"Isn't it better in payments," Elvan said.

"I like it when I don't have to owe anyone," Jonathan said.

"You're strange McScrooge," Elvan said as Jonathan rolled his eyes.

"And you're a weirdo Elvan," Jonathan said as they pulled into his driveway,

"Alright welcome to mi casa," Jonathan said as he opened the door.

"I've been here before silly," Elvan said.

"It's common curtesy to welcome someone to ones home you jackass," Jonathan said closing the door behind Elvan.

"I feel so welcomed," Elvan said as he grabbed the bags and sat down on the couch.

"Only for the best of guests," Jonathan said sitting on the other side of the couch.

"Alright first we put on the tinsel," Elvan said taking out the silver tinsel.

Jonathan grabbed a packaged and opened it. He walked up to the tree and started to just randomly wrap the tree with the tinsel.

"No no no no no you're doing it all wrong," Elvan said coming to his side.

"There's a right way to do this," Jonathan asked confused as Elvan took the tinsel away.

"Yes you start at the top then evenly wrap it around the Christmas tree until it reaches to the bottom," Elvan said doing it perfectly.

"This is stupid," Jonathan mumbled as he copied Elvan.

Elvan has told Jonathan he would do the lights since he was taller then Jonathan. Jonathan pouted but sat on the couch and watched Elvan work. Soon the lights were in place and Elvan went back to the bag.

"Now it's time for the ornaments," Elvan said excitedly opening a package of blue and red.

"Is there a right way to do this," Jonathan said clearly annoyed.

Elvan wanted to say yes but realized that you're supposed to have fun decorating.

"No just put them wherever you like," Elvan said and Jonathan's eyes light up.

Jonathan started to place ornaments at random places and Elvan couldn't help but watch. It was a rarity where Jonathan showed the kid side of himself. Elvan couldn't help but smile as he's slowly breaking down Jonathan's ice wall. Elvan joined in placing him in random places. Soon they had placed them all except for the special ornaments.

Jonathan grabbed the raccoon and looked at it. He didn't understand why the raccoon was his favorite animal. It just was to him. He placed it near the top of the tree. He grabbed the teddy bear one and smiled softly at it. He loved teddy bears; let anyone tell him he's too old for them. He placed it near the raccoon and smiled at the handiwork. Elvan places his owl near the two and went back for the star.

"Alright it's time for the star," Elvan said as he opened the package taking out the plain star.

Jonathan took the star from him and placed the star on the tree. Of course he struggled to reach the height but he wouldn't tell anyone that. He connected the star to the lights and then stepped back to see the handiwork.

"The best part is seeing the tree light up," Elvan said plugging the lights to the wall,

The tree lit up and Jonathan's eyes widen at how amazing it looked. Elvan stepped back and watched Jonathan's reaction. It was like a child who was experiencing Christmas for the first time.

"Jonathan I'm here what's going on," Luke said as he entered the house.

Luke saw Elvan looking at Jonathan who was admiring the tree. Luke smiled widely as this was better than he thought. He wanted Jonathan to enjoy Christmas and not dwell on the past anymore.

"I got this," Luke whispered to Elvan and he nods his head.

Elvan looks back to see Luke pull Jonathan into a hug. He could see tears running down Jonathan's face. Elvan wanted to go over there and comfort him but he knew he would be overstepping his boundaries. He just closed the door behind and let the cool breeze hit his face.
