Chapter 1
My name is Jess. I live in Pennsylvania with my best friends Emily and Nick. I am 16 as is Emily and Nick is 17. We live in a small neighborhood. Maybe about 100 residents. Everyone knew us as the "Inseparable 3". I don't know why, probably because we did everything together.
One day, we were walking down the street when a van went flying through us. "What the hell was that?" Emily asked. "I don't know. That van threw something out the window. It landed in those woods up ahead", I said. Nick then of course said "Lets go check it out! Maybe it's something useful. Or mysterious. Let's go!!!" Emily and I shook our heads. "I don't know Nick. It doesn't seem like a good idea. Who knows what that could be" I said. Nick ignored us and went up to the book. On the front it had a cover. It read "What No One Wants To Hear". Who knew that that book would rule our lives forever.
