Golden altar.
The full moon shimmered brightly that cold night.
The stars too twinkled and radiated flickers of light,
the cold breeze had an awakening sensation,
for two decades ,
the long awaited night had finally dawned in our world,
the night to awaken the beast,
we encircled the golden altar,
dressed in black hooded robes,
the six of us meant business,
the naked 8 months old virgin lay frozen by the altar,
the six candle sticks placed in the edges of the altar shon dimly,
the high priest who was i, admired the tiny being that lay there,
by every thump of her heartbeat,
my thirst became unbearable,
as the other members recited the unforbiden scriptures,
i held the silver dagger up in the shimmering night,
the child just stared at me stretching her tiny hands for an embrace,
no , no , no i cudn't give in to her tricks,
she had to die,
we were thirsty for blood,
in a twinkle of an eye my sharp blade sliced her soft nake,
i had fulfilled the prophecy,
we tapped the warm blood from the slit opening in her throat,
"hail, hail, hail beasts of the earth,
creep , creep like a jeeper into our dark souls"
the heavens darkened and all over sudden

and there lay the half lifeless little virgin,
After quenching the thirst of ages,
i cut her down from the throat down to the navel. Breaking her ribs through her lung ,
and there it was.
Still beating,
It was tiny so i held it with my two fingers.
The tiny thud elicited exitment in my whole body. I tightened the grip. Pulled the whole heart out together with the vessels.
Took the already red knife and divided the vessels among the followers. Took the heart and let it face the dark moon.
The prophecy must be fulfilled. slowly with my saliva dripping, i crushed it with my carnivorous teeth, salty it was but the blood was fresh and warm.
