Kriiiiiiiiing! Kriiiiiiiiing!

I woke up as soon as my alarm clock rang. I sat up on my bed, stretched my arms then stood up. I walked to my window and took a picture of the sky using my cellphone's camera. I think I do this almost everyday. Because I believed that Kevin's face might come out from the sky just for me to see. You know what they say, you gotta believe in something.

"Abbey Darling!" Mom shouted from downstairs. "Breakfast is ready!"

"Okay!" I answered.

I looked at Kevin and my picture that was sticked on the wall beside my bed. That wall has many pictures sticked on it, making me remember all the fun memories I've had. I laughed as I stared at our photograph. We look so happy and young here. It was a photo taken on my phone during New Year's Eve when we were in Disneyland. Our very first date. On the other hand, the more I look at Kevin here, Trevor really does look like him, at little. Trevor.. Ugh! Why am I thinking of him so early in the morning?!

I took a bath and fixed myself. I wore my school uniform (which is very pretty, by the way), combed my hair and applied a little amount of make-up. Now, this is just weird. Why am I making myself pretty today? I glanced at the clock and realized I should stop thinking and better get going. I grabbed my Burberry Tote bag and walked downstairs. Mom and Dad were at the dining room.

"So, what is Mother's specialty for today?" I asked as I slid to one of our dining table's chairs. She was still in the kitchen. Dad's already sitting with me in the dining room, drinking his black coffee while reading today's newspaper.

Mom obviously heard me from kitchen because she replied, "I made a simple breakfast of ham, sausage and eggs." She walked out of the kitchen then in the dining room. She placed a plate, with all of the food she mentioned earlier, in front of me. Then went back to the kitchen and came back with a plate of toast. "With toast, of course. Just as you want it." She smiled then sat beside Dad. We have three maids in our house but when it comes to the kitchen, she's the boss. You can say, my mom's an addict when it comes to cooking.

"Thank you." I grinned then started eating my breakfast, kept thinking if I forgot to do any homework. I guess not, I'm not the lazy and forgetful type. Moments later, our doorbell rang.

"Hm?" Mom said. "Who is it this early?" She stopped eating then stood up from her seat. She walked to the main door, which is just close to the dining room.

"Are going to school together with Yul and Mitch today?" Dad asked, placing the newspaper aside then drank his coffee.

I shook my head no. "We didn't talk about it yesterday."

"Oh!" Mom kept laughing as she entered the dining room again, with Trevor.

I immediately stood up, shocked to see him in my house so early in the morning.

"Trevor?" I asked. "What are you doing here?"

Mom kept on laughing. "Your handsome friend here, Mr. Johansson , said he came to pick you up dear."

"Please, ma'am, it's Trevor" He laughed with her.

Dad stood up then looked at him. I can see him trembling and nervous while looking at Trevor. My father's a lawyer, so he's always strict-and-stiff. Today's the first time I see him shaking and out of his normal self.

"Kevin?" He walked to Trevor, eyes opened wide. He hugged him. He was smiling and almost crying at the same time. Then I realized, they were tears of joy. "My boy! Have you come to go to school together with my daughter again?"

"Father!" I instantly pulled him back. "He's not Kevin. He's a senior. Kevin.. is already dead."

"Abbey." Dad muttered. "I'm sorry. Forgive me dear."

"Mm." I nodded.

"Alright. Go now, the clock's ticking." Mom smiled half-heartedly, then pushed us out of the house. "Take care of our Abbey, Trevor!"

Then closed the door.

"I'm sorry." I apologized as we walk. "Almost everyone is thinking you're Kev."

He laughed. "It's alright. I'm glad your dad liked me. Or Kevin."

I chuckled. "In all factuality, dad and Kevim are really close. My family likes him as much as I do."

"He's a lucky man." Trevor smiled. "Do you have a picture of him? I wanna see if we really look alike."

"Sure." I chuckled. I reached for my cellphone in my bag. I searched for a picture of Kevin. I clicked on the picture that made me giggle. He look so angry and at the same time embarrassed. I remembered the story behind the photo, when I pleaded him that I want a photo of him in my cellphone alone. Because all the pictures of him were always with me.

"Here." I handed my phone to Trevor.

"Oh!" He smiled. "I guess we are a little alike. But I'm more handsome, ain't I?"

He moved his face closer to mine. Again, with his handsome face and his captivating rain-colored eyes. My heart kept on beating so hard. I faked a laugh then pushed his face.

I think I really might fall for him.

"Whose side do you think I'd be on?" I chuckled, walking before him. "Of course, my boyfriend's!"

"Come on, be supportive of me, even a little." He ran then walked beside me. It's fun, being like this with him. I am now experiencing some real fun. The true feeling of happiness. When was the last time I felt it?

-end.
