Ezra saved Aria and her friends from being attacked by -A at the rooftop in New York, he had been shot by -A and he was trying to survive in his room at the hospital. After visiting him ,Aria got out of his room and sat down on the sofa of the waiting room at the hospital.She fell asleep just about for 15 minutes until a terrible sound woke her up, the sound of the nurses and doctors running around all the hall, in that moment she thought that it could be any patient, however, the emergency wasn't about any patient,its was Ezra's emergency.
When she saw the nurses and doctors in his room Aria ran the fastest she could and got getting inside with Ezra, the nurses tried to get her out but she held Ezra's hand the strongest she could, seeing the love of her life trying to stay awake was the worst that Aria had ever seen, he almost can catch his breath, the doctors were trying to decrease his heart rate but it wasn't working at all, when the situation started being worse the nurses got Aria out of the room, she was begging not to,but it was necesary. The nurses told her that she had to wait in the room with her friends but she didn't she stayed just at the other side of the door.
After 45 minutes,doctors established him and they went out, Dr. Shepard who was the responsable of Ezra's case got out too.
-Doctor, doctor, Is he ok? Said Aria in tears.
- He's established by the time but...
-But?
-But things got complicated, the treatment hasn't worked out in the way we supposed it would be.
-What do you mean?
-He doesn't have much time.
-What do you mean by 'not much time'?
-He's going to die soon, i'm really sorry.
Hearing those words ,Aria felt how her heart slipped through her throat to the pit of her stomach, and how her legs trembled like jelly, she almost could breath and her tears started dropping from her heart through her hazel eyes. Losing him too soon wasn't what she had planned, she always saw Ezra in all her dreams, always by her side.
When Aria got back to the waiting room she almost could keep herself standing but knowing that Ezra was about to die was too much for her, so, she broke into tears infront of her friends, Spencer, Emily, Ali and Hanna had seen Aria crying a lot of times but this time her weeping was different, this time the tears wasn't coming from her eyes, these were coming from the deepest of her heart, they haven't seen Aria in this way. Aria was already on the floor when Spencer held her strong.
-Aria, what happen? Asks Spencer really worried
- I'm losing him.
-What? Why?
-I'm losing him!, I'm losing him, this is all my fault if i had told him once how much i love him...
-Aria, this isn 't your fault, you can't blame yourself! Said Emily while she was cleaning Aria's tears from her cheeks.
Seeing Aria is this state broke her friends's heart, they hugged her the strongest they could, when she got calmed she asked Spencer if she could drive her to Ezra's place for getting some things for him, Spencer accepted and drove to the 3B apartment, when Aria got there she took a deep breath before opening the door, it might be the last time that she could be in that cozy apartment, then, she headed to Ezra's room and she got a little piece of paper from his counter, that piece of paper had written a list of things to do that Aria and Ezra had written when they were finally married.
After taking stuff from Ezra's, Aria got back to the hospital and joined Ezra at his room.
-Hi there beautiful! Said Ezra with a brilliant smile.
