when we get back with our arms full of bags we practically stumble through the front door.
"well looks like you guys had fun" finn says, looking at us. me and jack just burst out laughing about our little shopping trip. it was so fun. being with jack.
"okay guys...what film" sophia says, looking through netflix.
"the breakfast club" jeremy says, getting a bit too excited.
"yeah!" i say.
"nahh...how about scream" chosen says. he loves horror films. the others all jump up in excitement. i shoot maddie a look. i hate horrors. she gives me a sympathetic shrug.
"what's wrong?" jack whispers, whilst the others get comfy.
"what...n-nothing i'm fine" i says, cracking a smile.
"don't give me that smile" he says.
"i just don't like horror films" i say.
"don't worry...i'm here" he says, smiling softly. god that fricken smile.

we all settle down and get comfy. the food is all spread out in front of us so we can just help ourselves. i sit next to jack. but i see maddie and wyatt sat very close together. i take a picture of them and send it to the group chat. they all look at them and maddie and wyatt turn bright red. cuties. halfway into the film and i'm already terrified. i move closer to jack when all the jump scares happen and the creepy music starts playing. he smiles at me and puts his arm around my waist. i freeze at first and then get comfortable. i notice the others all nudging each other but i ignore them. i'm happy. for once.
