MARIE COUSINS P.O.V
I had just moved all the way from Canada to Maine. Derry Maine to be exact. I honestly never every thought I would move. How am I supposed to feel like this place is home. My dad got a really good job here, and my mom came with us, even though she wasn't to happy about moving either. We finally reach the house. It was a decent size, bigger then my house in Canada. We unpack the car, and head in the house. I turned my music off, and ran my suitcase up to my bedroom.

"Be down at 6:00 for dinner okay?" My dad said.
"Okay Dad."

I plopped myself down on the bed, which was just a mattress on a bed frame right now, but I was too tired to make it right now. All I could think about was my old room. I didn't hate this place, but I didn't really like it. Maine is beautiful, but it's not my home. I let out a loud sigh. The only good thing about all this is that it's summer vacation soon. In two weeks to be exact. I have to start school tomorrow, so I decide to pack up,and get ready. I put all of my school items in my backpack, and I hear d my dad call me down for dinner. I walked out of my room, and ran down the stairs into the kitchen. There was a pizza box on the counter, full of my favourite kind. Pepperoni. I took a few pieces, and sat down in the living room. My mom sat on the couch on the other side of the room, and may dad just sat at the table.

After I finished my pizza, I ran back up to my bedroom, and got my bed ready. I heard a knock on the door.

"I've got it." My dad called.

I was curious as to who it was, so I jogged down the stairs. There was two people at the door, one lady, and a boy, who looked about my age. My parents were talking to them. I wasn't really paying attention to their conversation, my eyes were locked on that boy. I walked to the front door.

"Hi." I said shyly to the people at the door.

"And this is our daughter Marie." My mom said to them.

"Well I'm Sonia Kasbrak, and this is my son Eddie." The women said to me.

"Nice to meet you." I said holding out my hand. I shook Sonia's hand, and held my hand out to Eddie, he shook it and smiled a bit.
