"The dawn before the sunrise is the darkest" -방탄소년단

Pitter- Patter.
Pitter- Patter.

There it goes again.

Pitter-patter.

Jeongguk took a deep breath. He watched from his bed the raindrops hit the glass window. His chocolate brown eyes followed the raindrops rolling down the glass and disappearing as they touched the white window frame.

The only in light-source in the room came from cloudy, grey sky but it was still not bright enough for him to see well. He stood up from his bed and carefully walked over to his wooden desk across the room. His hands searched around the desk for matches. His fingertips felt pencils, cups, charcoal chalk paper, and his notebook until he felt the long, rough, scratchy sides of the box of matches. He nodded his head in achievement and picked it up.

He opens the desk drawer and felt around, looking for a candle. After a few seconds of searching, he felt the wax texture of the candle. He grabbed it and placed it on a candlestick that he found in the drawer. He set it down on the desk and opened the box of matches. He took one out before closing the box. He firmly pressed the tip of the match against the rough side of the box and closed it, lighting up the match.

He looked up at the clock that was hung up on the wall; he brought the candle close to the clock to illuminate it. 6:36 pm it read.

He picked up his paintbrush and walked over to a white canvas that stood in the middle of the room. His hand reached over the canvas and picked up some black paint. He dipped his paintbrush into the paint and set the paint aside. He closed his eyes for a brief second as the only thought stayed in his head.

Pitter- Patter.
Pitter- Patter.

"A thick color for a rainy day," he mumbled.

He brought his paintbrush up to the white canvas and gently pressed against it. He moved the paintbrush around, leaving a thick trail of black paint.

After what seemed like hours, he set his paintbrush down and stepped back, looking at the piece of art in front of him. A man from head to mid-shoulder, his hair covering all of his foreheads; ending into the dark shadows. The man's piercing eyes stared at him.

He looked away from the painting, still managing to feel that odd vibe from the guy in the canvas staring at him, sending a shiver down his body.

"It's not my fault," he whispered.

"It's not my fault. It wasn't my fault. It wasn't.....MY FAULT. IT WASN'T MY FAULT!" he started to yell at the painting.

He grabbed the closest thing near his reach and threw it hard at the painting. His vision became a blur as his eyes welled up with tears. His face showed affliction as he closed his eyes, letting his salty drop of tears rolled down his cheeks. He fell down to his knees, hitting hard on the wooden floor, letting out a loud sob of grief. His mind kept agonizing him, telling him, he was the one to blame.

His body soon grew tired of creating salty tears and whimpers. He lay down on the wooden floor, closing his eyes and going into a deep slumber.

"Hyung it wasn't like that," Jeongguk told Yoongi.

"Sure it wasn't" Yoongi scoffed as he continues to keep his eyes on the road

"I mean it. I wasn't involved in that thing. I didn't know they were going to that." Jeongguk frowned as Yoongi's expression changed from annoyance to anger.

"How couldn't that have crossed your mind Jeongguk!!" He yelled "How can you be so stupid to fall for that?!? And you didn't even bother telling me, ME who they were talking about!" His knuckles turned white as he pressed on the steering wheel.

Jeongguk looked down to his knees in disappointment. It wasn't his intention. He didn't know they were going to get kick Yoongi out of the academy. He thought the classmates were going to surprise him for his excellent work for music class. His classmates never did these types of things. He wasn't my intention for them to take Yoongi's work and making it seem like Yoongi plagiarized.

"Thought so." Yoongi rolled his eyes. "This is your fault!!" He pressed his foot more against the gas pedal, accelerating the cars speed. " I'VE WORK SO HARD TO MAKE IT AND JUST FOR YOU TO RUIN IT, RUIN MY DREAM!!!"

Yoongi did a sharp turn to the right. His green eyes glaring at the road. The road was empty and semi-lit due to the street lights in the dark night.
Jeongguk tensed up by Yoongi's anger and driving speed. Fear slowly crawled into his body. He looked at Yoongi and back to his knees.

"Hyung..." he mumbled.

"Oh! Don't start with that crap!!!" Yoongi yelled.

"But Yo-" Jeongguk tried to speak but was cut off.

"Shut it!" Yoongi quickly moves to the right, pulling over. He pressed the unlock button of the car and looked at Jeongguk. "Get out..."

"Y-Yoongi please-"

"I said get out I'm not going to repeat myself again!"

Jeongguk sighed and nodded. He pulled the door handle and push the door open. He stepped out of the door into the sidewalk and looked at Yoongi one last time before closing the door.

Yoongi didn't look at back at Jeongguk and pressed the lock button. He sped off and drove to a well-known bar. Along the way, he couldn't take his mind off of what Jeongguk did. He ran his finger through his mint green hair in frustration. It made his blood boil just by the thought of Jeongguk. Even though the two were best friends he still couldn't believe it.
Yoongi saw a small glow by the steering wheel. It was the friendship bracelet that Jeongguk and him got from an antique store.

Yoongi let out a small chuckle of that tale "There's no such thing as friendship," he thought. He parked his car near a bar. He turned the key of the car, turning it off. He pressed the unlocked button of the car and stepped out. He closed the car, automatically locking itself. He entered the bar and sat down on the booth. He called the bartender for a drink.

After half an hour passed Yoongi was already drunk. His face flustered by the amount of alcohol he consumed. He wasn't much of a heavy drinker nor had ever gotten too drunk before. He knew about this place since it was always mentioned in other people's conversations. Yoongi hiccuped as he stood up from his seat. He pulled out his wallet and took out a random bill. He placed the bill on the counter and made his way out of the bar. Along the way he stumbled a few times due to his vision being a bit of a blurry.

He exited the bar, walked to his car, unlocked it and stepped inside. He turned on the car. He pulled the seat belt, trying to lock it. He inserted the car keys, turned it, and started the car. He started to drive and notice small droplets of water hit the glass of the car. He continued to drive and laughed to himself about nothing. As he laughed, not focused on the road he didn't notice he moved the car to the wrong lane or the truck that was coming his way. The truck honked to get Yoongi's attention. When Yoongi looked in front of him all he saw was the bright light.
