Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit.
That was all that have been going through Yongguk's mind while Junhong was bringing their faces closer and closer together. What the was kid doing? He wasn't thinking of actually kissing him was he? Part of Yongguk was hoping he wasn't. However, there was another part of the assassin that wanted to kiss Junhong. He would be lying if he said he wasn't attracted to the younger. So, he wasn't really oppose to this happening. However, Yongguk's better judgment began to kick in. Before their lips could brush together, the assassin gripped Junhong's shoulders and pushed him back slightly. "What are you doing, kid?"
Junhong hadn't fully noticed what he was doing until Yongguk stopped him. It was then when it his actions dawned on him. He was going to kiss Yongguk. The man was supposed to kill him. What was he thinking? He was clearly not thinking logically. There was no way the boy should be even thinking about kissing Yongguk. But, there was part of the boy that wanted to do it. He really wanted to kiss the elder. Turning his gaze away, Junhong cleared his throat. "N-Nothing. I wasn't going to do anything." Figuring Yongguk probably wanted him to get off, Junhong moved himself off the elder and stood up.
Yongguk didn't missed the disappointment in Junhong's eyes. That surprised him. Did the kid really want to kiss him? No, that couldn't be. Yongguk sat up slowly after Junhong had stood up. He peeked up at the boy, seeing he had lowered his gaze. Even with the boy looking down, that didn't stop Yongguk from catching the glimpse of sadness in his brown hues. Okay, if the kid didn't want to kiss him, then why did he currently looked so sad? Now not believing his words, Yongguk stood from the ground. "Right."
Just that one word was enough to make Junhong's cheeks become bright red. "Really! I wasn't going to do anything!" Even as those words left his mouth, he knew they were false and also knew Yongguk could most likely see behind his lies.
Yongguk perked an eyebrow. "Yeah, right. Whatever you say, kid." The assassin ruffled his hair before stepping into the kitchen. "Anyway, I should be heading out soon. I have dinner plans." The assassin stepped over to the refrigerator and pulled out a can of Sprite. Turning, he held out to the younger. "Here. You were going to get another one, weren't you? Before we bumped into one another."
Junhong didn't noticed he had frowned at Yongguk's words. So, he really was going out to dinner with that Namjoon person. Just knowing that made his stomach churn in a way he wasn't used to. Why was he getting so jealous over this? It wasn't like he and Yongguk were together or anything. Without saying a word, Junhong stepped over to Yongguk and took the can of Sprite from his hand with a mumbled thanks before returning to the living room.
Yongguk noticed Junhong's persona change slightly when he had mentioned going to dinner. The elder thought it was simply his imagination, brushing it off as nothing important. When Junhong walked back to the living room, Yongguk perked an eyebrow in confusion but shrugged his shoulders shortly after. "Anyway, I'll be heading out Junhong. If you need me or Daehyun just give us a call alright." When he received a hum in response, the assassin rubbed the back of his neck and left the house. After making sure the door was locked, Yongguk walked over to car and got inside. Starting the engine, he glanced towards the house for a moment. He wondered if there was something wrong with Junhong. Perhaps the teen just missed his parents or something. Sure, Yongguk could allow the kid to see his mother, but that wouldn't be a good idea. He had a feeling Junhong's mother would tell her husband and things will become very complicated if that happened. So, Junhong would have to deal with not seeing his parents for a little while.
Pulling out of the drive way, Yongguk drove back home. He had to still get ready for his dinner with Namjoon. He was told earlier by the younger he wanted to speak to him about something, and had insisted it be discussed over dinner. The assassin hoped it wasn't anything bad. He didn't want his younger brother to be distressed or in any sort of trouble. While being lose in his thoughts, Yongguk arrived home rather quickly. Parking the car, he stepped inside and immediately took a shower to get ready to meet Namjoon at the restaurant. That was another thing that began bothering Yongguk. Namjoon was heading to the restaurant first. Why couldn't the two of them to together? This was really beginning to bother Yongguk. He called Namjoon to say he was on the way now while grabbing his keys and wallet before rushing out of the house.
---
"Welcome sir. Do follow me." As soon as Yongguk had stepped inside the restaurant, one of the waiters immediately led him to the table Namjoon had reserved for him. If he was being led to the table this quickly without having to check in, Namjoon must have told the waiter he was on his way. Once Yongguk caught sight of his younger brother at the table, a warm smile made it's way onto his handsome face.
Bowing slightly to the waiter, the assassin slowly sneaked up being the younger and covered his eyes. A small smirk replaced the smile when Namjoon had jumped. Yongguk leaned in close to the younger's ear, and whispered in a deep husky tone. "Guess who~"
Namjoon immediately relaxed once he heard that familiar deep voice. He giggled cutely and lifted one hand to touch his brothers slightly larger ones. "Hi hyung."
The fond smile returned to Yongguk's face and placed a kiss on the back of Namjoon's head. Then, he walked around and took a seat across from Namjoon. "So, what did you need to talk to me about? If we are discussing it over this amazing dinner, then it must be something big."
Namjoon looked at Yongguk with a wide dimply smile. He really hoped his older brother would be happy with the news be had for him. Beginning to fidget a little with his fingers, Namjoon parted his lips to begin speaking. "Well, I hope you will see this as exciting news. It's something that's made me really happy." The younger took a deep breath then exhaled before finishing his sentence. "Do you remember Seokjin?"
Yongguk titled his head to the side once he heard the name. It sound familiar, but doesn't remember where he's heard it. He suddenly remembered the waiter from the café. "Oh. That waiter? Yeah, I remember him."
"Well, after texting each other and hanging out for the last several days, he asked me out. Yesterday, to be exact. And...I said yes." Namjoon's cheeks became a pale pink. "He's perfect, hyung. He treats me so well, and is so polite. He makes me feel special. I...I think he is the one."
Yongguk's eyes widened once he heard his brother's words. Part of him instantly went overprotective big brother mode. Although, another side of him began squealing. He was so happy his younger brother was happy and found the right person. A gummy smile formed on the assassin's handsome face. "I'm happy for you, Joonie! I approve, but only if he makes sure to take good care of you. If he doesn't, he is going to have to answer to me."
Namjoon felt a wave of happiness course through his body. Hearing his older brother that he approves of his and Seokjin's relationship made him so happy. Not being able to help himself, the young stood from his chair and practically tackled his older brother. "Thank you! Thank you! He's amazing, hyung. He will definitely take care of me. I promise."
Yongguk wrapped his arms around Namjoon and hugged him tightly. "Good. Just as long as he takes care of you, that's all I care about." Turning his head to the side, Yongguk gently kissed Namjoon's temple. "Congratulations Joonie. Let's celebrate this amazing news."
Giving his brother a big kiss on the cheek, Namjoon nodded his head happily and sat back down in his chair. "Yes! Let us celebrate!"
