HelloNov. 19
Pokémon Performing. It's the newest class at the Pokémon School in Alola. It's most exciting thing to happen around here, honestly. I have to thank Christmas for that. People might think that here in Alola things are always so exciting, but that's just the normal tourist coming around and seeing the new Pokémon and unknown ways of traveling. But for me, that's the norm. This place is just too relaxed. But, again, that's just me.
Now with this new class I can finally set my eyes on something I'm actually interested in.
As I was writing this into my journal, my mom slowly creaked the door open. "Whatcha doing?"
I covered my journal quickly with my hand holding the pencil. "Nothing, Mom."
"Well, I see something." She set one foot inside my room, causing me to close my journal entirely.
"Of course you see something." I sat up from my desk. "You're not blind."
"Woah," my mom said loudly. "Let's not grow an attitude all of a sudden."
Walking over towards her, I tried my best to walk through her before she grabbed my forearm, pulling me back a bit. I stared.
"You should try to go out and talk to the kids at the school. So you could get to know them, of course."
Alola was like that.
"Mom, no." I pulled my arm away. "That'd just be weird..."
"Well, I think it's weird that you're just going to this school just to take one single class. You could easily just wait to become a trainer. That's how I did it until I became a Ryhorn Racer-"
"Yeah, and then decided to move to Alola." It's been three years since we've moved in here. I wished my mother had regretted the decision as much as I learned to dislike the place.
My mother retreated and bit at her lip while closing the door to my room.
I walked away.
I felt bad but never apologized.

THREE DAYS LATER...
The rest of the kids rammed up almost to my shoulders. "The hell," I muttered. The people at the Pokémon school were rambunctious at most. They didn't even care to see where you were. If they had to get someplace, they went in one direction and one direction only: my path.
I heard another, much smaller kid yelled from across the hall. He seemed to be one of the Junior class, judging by his youthful features... and his nonpubescent vocal cords. "Zack, I'm going to kill you!" He screamed. A little violent for such a small child.
I was going to turn around and look, but it was too late. He had rammed right into me, causing my knee to give out underneath me. I fell with my binder sliding out across the floor, my empty lined paper dispersing like a firework on New Year Eve's night.
I cussed to my heart's content while my face lay sideways on the floor, one of my hands covering my eyes.
"Hey, are you okay?" Another voice rang from above me.
