We're all fanatics
manipulated by a higher power
even if we don't believe in a God
we're still preaching to different factions of the same choir
aching to be worshipped and accepted for our version of the truth
sheep praised by all our likeminded flocks.
We're all zealots
regurgitating the same old scriptures
fabricating our limited realities
blinded by our commitment to comforting lies
drowning ourselves in spoon-fed propaganda
of the false worlds we've envisioned for ourselves.
Break free from the matrix
don't be led astray
by conniving puppet masters
pulling your strings every which way from behind the big screens
don't let your friends become enemies
in the name of false virtue.
