There is a swing. An old rusty yellow and blue coated swing, covered in curly leaves. Nobody EVER used that swing, we got for my 5th birthday but mum never allowed us to play in it because of "hazards". She always was on the watch of my safety, making sure she knows where I'm going. Anyway back to the swing, the colour started to scrape off, 10 years have past and it's never got it's colour off, so why now?
Mum claim its junk, dad says it's memories. Mum and dad are definitely opposites attract. dad is more a approachable person, loveable, and sees the world a different way also believes that nature is how we're surviving. Mum says we're living because of humans economic Development, and our new plot lands. I'm kinda in the middle, I'm an approachable person but I have mums edge to that, so I'm kinds mysterious? I guess that's how people describe me.
"Maybe it's time to give up the swing? What do you thin em?" My mum looks through the window, did I forget to mention that my dad past away last week? Mum is going through I REAL hard time, my dad suicided because of her.
She's trying to get rid of any memory of dad, she says when there is no more memories, there is no hope. And it is true, I've experienced it since I was BORN. I'm starting think my mum has lost hope ever since she married dad. Like she hasn't had the freedom of kissing another guy. Just this one guy and that's it. That why I don't want to marry, not only because of that, because guys treat you like a slave, well at least 95% of the world do.Today is my first day at year 12 and I have to prep a speech, since I'm school captain. I mean that great and all, but kinda boring.
"Hello St Francis Xavier! My name Emily Coal, as your all know this is the last year you will ever be in St Francis or college. Last year we had a bunch of Universitys come in here to do a schowcase of all seniors! To show your choices and to see where it could lead you, we had some inventions from some Uni's that really surprised you all. Know before we get into the session, some of you may hear... that Bradley O'cane was in a car crash with some serious brain damage. In fact it's so bad that... he won't be joining us for year 12, but will be there spirit as he's in the hospital. We will be having excursions to the hospital to see how he's going, and teaching him all the stuff we learned of our way of year 12. Also a quick reminder, yes the year 7 are giving a lot sass this year so they will be talked too after some of the incidents that happens last year so... all is good. I will like to give it to Mr Mac, our headmaster"
After that My mind started to wonder on our new year 7s, they looked at each other conducting their rivals of popularity and eliminating all the neutral people.
Then I look up, snapping away from my Dreaming. And when I look up, I see a boy.
