Final Mission: Avengers Infinity War fanfiction

Chapter 3

Sarah's head throbbed again and her vision blurred a bit, but it cleared when she shook her head. For a little bit, she thought that it was because of her wound but the voices she heard earlier were getting louder. This isn't the first time it's happened before, the reality stone gave her the power to also read minds. But this was different, mostly it was voices from the past, the voices she heard were talking about Thano's.

"Sarah?" Her head snapped up to the sound of Steve's worried voice and she jumped back when she saw how close he was. He obviously was calling her name a few times a little earlier before, "Are you ok?" He asked again and her head spun a little "Yeah...I-I'm fine..." She suddenly whimpered and held her head when all of the sudden her headache turned into one HUGE migraine, and she could hear the conversation in her head more clearly.

The voices she could hear were more clearer, she could make out that it was Tony, Quill, Strange, Mantis and Drax "Sarah? Hey talk to me!" Steve was in front of her looking really worried now, but she couldn't even see him. She only saw black, "Sarah?!" His voice echoed but she didn't hear that either because all of the sudden she was on a planet with 6 startled people.

"AH!" "AH!" Sarah screamed and went into her battle stance until she actually recognized these people "Stark?" Tony lowered his hand "Rogers-Barnes?" Sarah put away her swords and rubbed her arm nervously "T-Tony....I..." She was cut off by him hugging her which surprised her "It's ok. I should be sorry...." Tony said, and Sarah smiled and returned the hug. Quill cleared his throat "Um I hate to break this reunion but Sarah how did you get here? Did you fall asleep again?"

Tony gave her a look that said 'asleep?' And she looked at him "Long story. And I'm not asleep, especially when I almost got killed by the black order sent by Thano's! I passed out when I heard your voices." Tony looked shocked at that "Our voices?" Sarah looked at who said that and it turned out to be that spider kid from the airport "Hey aren't you that spider kid?" She asked. He blushed at that "It's...Peter Parker...actually."

Oh yeah...."What are you doing here though? Aren't you a bit too young for this?" She asked, hands on her hips "I'm only 17." He said "What about you?" "I'm 18 years old. I've been into space since I was 15, I've fought bad guys, aliens, and demigods since I was...14." She said, "So this is practically in my league." They all had to agree, "So....where are you right now?" Drax asked "Um...I...don't know...." She said.

"Well you might find out, cause you're starting to disappear." Quill said, Sarah looked down at herself and saw that Quill was right. Sarah looked at Tony, "Ok, look if you need me just-hey does strange always do that?" They all looked towards Strange who looked like he was using the time stone, and got startled "Whoa, hey you ok?" Tony asked. Strange looked at him and sighed "I was just.....looking through the different timelines for this fight."

Sarah looked at him "How many did you see?" She asked "About 14,600,005"  Dang, "H-How many do we win?" Strange looked at her ".....One...." "What?" Sarah disappeared before they said anything.

She sat up bolt right her hand over chest, gasping and almost flipped Steve over when he placed a hand on her shoulder "Whoa, easy..you ok?" He asked, she nodded "Y-Yeah...." she said still shaking, oh god..they only win one fight? Sarah stared at her hand as she sat on the couch in the old avengers facility, if they win only one fight then.....

Her hand clenched into a fist and her hand and eyes glowed red with magic from the reality stone flowing through her, they better make it count. She looked up at Steve who was being a leader like always, she was always protective of her parents and the people she loved, and she would make sure she dies protecting them all before Thano's laid a finger on them.
