It had been a few weeks since I got the engagement ring from Ralph. Living with Gray is probably the best thing I ever have in my life-really.

As the week approaches the end, I was able to find a job with Freddie at Asandria's Dinner as waiters. We really don't do much as we just need to look very hot for this well paying job.

"Gabe?" Gray calls my name from the kitchen. I throw my backpack onto my bed and rush to where Gray is.

"I'm ready!"

He examines my figure, "My son is handsome."

"Sure," I sarcastically roll my eyes, "You're just trying to praise yourself."

We laughed like maniacs. I say thank you and we leave for the elevator down to the lobby.

"How's your day, Mr Rosemary?" The ladies at the front desk greet Gray and which he replies with, "Fantastic! And how about you beautiful ladies?"

Then they would giggle to themselves like usual. This happen way to often.

Gray leads us to his normal black BMW i8 and as I climb inside, he asks me, "Do you work tomorrow?"

"No, why?"

"Ah, um, I have someone for you to meet," he smiles brilliantly with a slight golden blush.

"Someone special?" I ask to make him awkward.

"Y-yes," Gray tries to sound calm although I really wonder how he is an actor with these skills.

"Girl?" I pause and then add, "Boy?"

"Ahm." I try to not judge him too much which he then try to change the topic, "How's school and your boyfriend slash fiancé and Freddie?"

I turn my head in a flash wondering why he's asking me about my love life. After a while I reply with, "School is okay. I'm just don't know what school to apply to."

"Ah, sorry. I never went to school so..." His sentence drifts off like the short breezes.

"It's fine. Dan is helping me decide what I want to do...although he's mad that I still have no clue, ahaha..." Gray's lips are tightly together and didn't join in when I laughed.

He sighs, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't blame you when it's my fault."

"What? No. I used to want to go as far as I can from home with a full ride because I couldn't stand the Griffiths, but now that I'm with you...I don't want to leave. I'm just a little confused, I-I promise I'll think of a major and school soon-"

"It's alright. Take your time," he turns his head and glares at my nervous body. "I'm happy that you want to stay with me."

Then we come to a stop, "I'll be working late tonight. Go to Freddie's or Ralph's house after you're done."

"Okay." I wave my hand goodbye and he disappears. I close my eyes and take in a deep breath.

"What are you doing?" Freddie taps my shoulder. I jump a little.

"Oh, you scared me," I chuckle, "I was just clearing my mind before clocking in."

"You should hurry then. Killeen texted me that one of the cook went to the hospital just this afternoon," Freddie checks his phone, looks up at me with a smile, and then pulls my hand along with his.

"Ay, I'm engaged."

"I'm still your best friend. If Ralph got a problem with that he should talk to me instead," a smirk appears on his handsome face and we enter Asandria.

"Could you stop holding hands already?" Killeen greets us by the door, "The head chef wants to talk to you, Fred."

"Oh, okay," Freddie lets go of my hand and goes straight into the kitchen.

"What's going on?" I ask curiously.

"Head Chef wants Fred to replace the cook we lost this afternoon," Killeen elbows me.

"Ouch," I sound. "Must be nice to be able to cook, right?"

"Yeah," Killeen nods his head, "I heard the HC and Manager talking about promoting Fred with a raise too."

"Is that so...how much?"

"I heard about a 10 dollar raise."

"WH-"

Killeen covers my mouth, "Shhhh. I know. I'm jealous too. Damn it mom. You should've taught me how to cook."

"Shit that's a whole lot of money. Freddie better treat me later," I click my tongue.

"Oh, why are you that jealous? Doesn't he always treat you?"

"What? What made you think that? Freddie and I barely eat out because his mom's cooking is the best so we often just go to his house," I shrugged my shoulders.

"That's not what he told me," Killeen averts his eyes.

"Then what did he tell you?"

"I don't know," he leans to one of his shoulder and then shrugs both, "What you said is definitely not what he told me."

"Exactly! So what did he-"

"Hey! Get back to work!" The manager walks out of the kitchen. "We got lots of people to serve today as well, especially since it's a Friday."

Killeen and I are in such great shape, I think I might have straightened my spine.

"Damn you. Why did you have to yell so loud?" Killeen whispers angrily into my ears.

"Because you won't tell me what Freddie told you," I whisper back with the same exact amount of anger.

"Shh!" The manager stomps her heels, "Gabe, go serve table G5."

"Ha. Ha," Killeen mocks me.

"Kill, you wait on tables A and T today."

"Why? Those usually have the worst customers," Killeen handsomely wines.

Somehow the manager always buys it, but not today, "Nope. Stop your handsome face right now. Gabe gets table G5 today."

She looks like she is done and so she goes pass us but whispers into my ears, "Can you asks your dad to sign me an autograph? I'll give you the book for him to sign on later."

I nod my head and she smiled like it is the best day in her life.

"Bribing her with your new daddy?"

"Shut up Killeen Lesly Hienzworth."

We stare each other down then goes to work on our respected post. I go to table G5 and notice it is Dan and Annie and three other adults, two male brothers and a female.

"Bonne soirée. Quels menus vous préférez? Ou vous voudriez les mêmes?"

"Are you Gabriel?" One of the brothers asks and I nod. He looks like Freddie and Glen and he asks again, "Where's Freddie? Dan told me my son works here as well."

I look at Dan for answers and he says, "Ah, he's Fredrick, my kids' father, and over here is Fredrick's brother and Annie's father, Jonathan, and this is his fiancé, Vai Forman."
