Chapter 1

"Good morning, students," said Principal Moroboshi. "We have some very exciting news for all of you today."

It was Monday morning, and everyone at Four Star Academy gathered at the main hall for the weekly assembly.

" Next year, our school's S4 and M4 have been chosen to go on a trip," the headmaster paused a beat. "To Aikatsu Paradise!"

The main hall that seemed quiet at first, is now filled with the applause of students and teachers.

" Here they are, our top idols," said Principal Moroboshi, dramatically. "Ready to give their speeches."

Yume stepped up the stage, along with the rest of S4 and M4. She was wearing her signature smile.

" Hello, everyone!" Yume said cheerfully. "As the representative of S4, I'd like to say that we never would have made it this far without any of you."

" And as the representative of M4, I agree with Toma- her," Subaru stepped up. "It was your support that motivated us all. Thank you!".

" Yuzu would also like to say something!" Yuzu said vigorously. "We all know Aikatsu Paradise is only limited to one school each year. This is the first time Four Star Academy was chosen!"

"It's not the same as Aikatsu Island," Nozomu said. "Aikatsu Paradise is like a training camp."

"We will be going there next year in January!" Asahi and Mahiru both said together, before smirking. "We're looking forward to see a ship sail!"

"We're gonna be featured on Aikatsu TV," Ako said, purring. "Be sure to check us out!"

"That's all from us!" Kanata said, and they all finished it with, "Until next time, later!" and cute poses to complete the package.

The crowd burst into applause. Both S4 and M4 stepped back as the headmaster continued his speech.

"Aikatsu!" They cheered as they high-fived each other.

"The headmaster was so pleased over our achievement," Mahiru said. "He even gave us two weeks of time to rest from school."

"I wish he could give us two weeks of time to rest from work," Asahi complained, making them all laugh.

"Why don't we all spend time together during the break?" Nozomu suggested. "We can visit the National Art Museum."

"I wanna go to the zoo," Yuzu said. "They have the cutest animals there!"

"What about a festival?"

For 10 whole minutes, they all argued about where they would spend time together. Fortunately, Yume broke the fight and made a suggestion.

"Stop!" Yume shouted. "If we keep this up, we'll never come up with a decision."

"The octopus is right," Subaru teased her. "What's your suggestion then?"

"Two weeks is a long time," Yume started explaining. "We can take turns choosing where to go."

"Nice idea!" Asahi said cheerfully.

"I agree," Mahiru said. "Especially when it comes from Yume-chan."

"Yay!" Yuzu cheered. "So it's settled! Each if us will take turns choosing a venue!"

"Where do you wanna go Subaru-kun?" Asahi asked energetically, before noticing he was staring at Yume. He smirked and whispered to him, "Are you planning to go on a date with Yume-chan?"

"No way!" Subaru shouted, making them all stare at him. "Sorry..."

"Subaru-kun," Mahiru whispered loud enough so only him and her brother would hear. "You have a whole year to make her fall for you at Aikatsu Paradise, and we'll be glad to help!"

"I told you," Subaru denied. "I'm not interested in her!"

"My my, dear sister, what is that called?" Asahi smirked, before saying with his sister in unison, "Denial."

"If you're really uninterested," Mahiru started. "Then why do you have a photo of her on your phone?"

"I-I have a photo of everyone!" Subaru grinned nervously.

"But why her picture at the moment?" Asahi teased.

"Oh, well, it's getting late!" Subaru said, loud enough for everyone here. "We should get going."

"It's 9 in the morning," Kanata said, confused. "We don't have work until 1 o'clock."

Nozomu whispered something to Kanata's ear, making him smirk. Mahiru and Asahi secretly high-fived each other. Subaru noticed this and rolled his eyes, annoyed.

"So," Subaru interrupted the girls chatting. "What's the plan for tomorrow?"

"Since Yuzu is student council president," Yuzu said. "She wants to go to the zoo first."

"After Yuzu is your choice Subaru-kun," Yume said, embarrassing him. "Where do you wanna go?"

"Hmm," Subaru thought, out loud. "Let's go grab some popcorn and watch some action movies?"

"Where do you wanna go, Ako-chan?" Yume asked.

"H-huh?" Ako said, snapping back into reality (she was imagining herself with Subaru again). "Allow me to run a full scan of my brain database."

"Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, ding-ding!" Ako said, cheerfully. "Why don't we go to the library? I myself am a sci-fi nut. Then we can go and eat some bananas to eat! What do you think, Subaru-kyun?"

"Sounds great," Subaru said, in a normal tone.

"Nozomu-kun?"

"I would prefer the National Art Museum, please."

"Mahiru and Asahi?"

"Anywhere," they both said. "As long as the ship sails."

"What ship?" Yume asked cheerfully. "It's a really good idea, I love the ocean!"

Mahiru face-palms silently and Asahi sighed. Seeing this, Yume gave the rest of them a what-did-I-say face. Air head Yume strikes again!

"Nevermind," Mahiru sighed, and Asahi was slightly disappointed.

"What about you, Yume-chan?" Yuzu asked cheerfully, but impatiently.

"I'll be last," Yume said. "But it'll be a surprise."

"Ooh," Yuzu said. "Must be special."

"Oh, Subaru-kun," Yume said. "Can I talk to you in private?"

"S-sure," Subaru replied. They distanced from the others and Yume started talking.

"Subaru-kun," she said. "I..."

Cliffhanger! Waah don't kill me!!! This is my first fanfiction to be honest and it's more fun with cliffhangers. Well, at least it's fun for me because I already know the story goes (not really, I haven't really thought about the ending) and it keeps the readers excited. I'll probably post the next chapter tomorrow (I don't make any promises) so stay tuned.
