Dinah Jane Milika Ilaisaane Hansen is known for being one of the problematics member of the girl band Fifth Harmony.

Before fame, Dinah was a social girl with a sort of fun and type of social attitude. She is the type of problematic person who didn't realize they were problematic. Her personality outside of that didn't change at all either.

The X Factor producers didn't focus on her personality, only her voice. While they didn't throw her off to the side or mistreat like her, you could say that they were a bit unfair to her in the beginning.

During Bootcamp, the judges decided to put Dinah in a group because she messed up the lyrics to a song. Their excuse was that they were afraid of her doing it again in the future.

The song they learned in Bootcamp was one that they had to learn in either twelve or twenty-four hours. It's dumb to assume that someone who messed up on lyrics they had to learn that day would do it for performances that they would have a week to memorize (in regards to the live shows). Especially, considering that she was more talented than most of the people in her group who made it through as solo artists.

This decision was made because the judges were eager to find a group that could have One Direction's same potential and popularity that came from their show.

Luckily, the five girls became successful.

When thinking about Dinah Jane being problematic, most people think about her Snapchat video that caused an uproar in the media.

In a clip spreading around the internet, Dinah is seen filming herself as she refers to a group of unnamed people sitting next to her. She tells the camera, "He thinks he's so cute, so gay."

As shown in the rest of her Snapchat story, they are references to her family. Calling a family member gay isn't the problem, though, the use of the word is. Dinah turned gay into a type of insult- even if it was joking. Just because someone jokes about something doesn't change the context of its use.

Fans say not to take this seriously, though, their reasonings is because Dinah cares about the community due to once dancing with a flag.
