TW: Lots of fluff, and unedited

•Dylan's POV•

I would be lying if I didn't say that Axel is cute. He's fucking adorable. His light brown hair is cut in a slight fringe and is curly at the ends. His eyes are the glimmering color of emerald, sparkling in the light of the morning sun like a fresh sheen of morning dew. When he turns his head, this way and that, his eyes catch the light and play tricks with anything and everything that screams 'spring.'

"What grade are you in?" I ask.

"Eleven." he replies.

"Nice," I say. "Sorry for bumping into you, Axel. I wasn't watching where I was going."

"No, it's fine really!" he says.

"You sure?"

He nods. "Yeah, I wasn't watching where I was going, either."

"Well hey, you seem like a chill dude, do you maybe want to hangout some time?" I ask.

Axel nods. "Yeah, sure!"

A guy that has blonde and blue hair walks over to us, and let me tell you he has jealousy radiating off of him.
"Oh! Hey." says Axel. "This is Dylan."
The boy turns to me. "Chance." He says.

"Nice to meet you." I say, totally not meaning it. Chance looks at me with a judgmental look. I return the look to him.

"We were just talking about hanging out sometime.." says Axel.

Chance nods. "Cool." He says.

"Yeah," I begin. "Well, I'm throwing a party this weekend. You guys should come."

"Sounds cool! We'll be there!" says Axel.

"Yeah.." Chance says.

"Feel free to bring more people if you'd like," I say. "The more the merrier."

•Axel's POV•

-timeskip-

"No. Fucking. Way. Dylan Smith invited us to his party! He's only like one of the best party throwers ever!!!" Squeals Alissa.

"Holy shit! How'd you manage that, Axel?" Emmett asks.

"Well, he bumped into me," I begin. "And said I was cool."

"Really?!" asks Alissa.

"Yes, if you need a word-for-word run down he said 'Well hey, you seem like a chill dude,'"

Alissa squeals again. "That's so cool!"

"Are we going to that party?" Emmett asks.

"What kind of a question is that? Of course we're going!" I say.
I look over at Chance, he looks kind of unimpressed. "..A-Are you going to come with us, Chance?" I ask.

He nods. "Yeah, of course." That makes me smile. He hesitantly returns the smile to me. Something's up with him, and I intend to find out what it is..

-another timeskip flys by..-

"Hey, Chance?" I say, leaning against the locker beside Chance's. He nods and continues to grab his stuff out of his locker. "Yea?" He replies.

"C-Can you.. uhh.. walk me home..?" I stammer. He giggles, nodding once again. "Sure."

I wait for him to grab all of his stuff. He closes his locker and we walk out of the school, the snow crunching beneath our feet, the crisp air making our cheeks rosy, the sound of talking and laughing bouncing around. I pick up some snow and form it into a sphere. I throw it at Chance, giggling softly.

"Hey!" He whines, giggling as well. He picks up some snow and makes a snowball, throwing it at me. I dodge it and he fakes a frown.

"There there, little puff." I say. Chance and I laugh. I started the whole 'little puff' thing a while back.

"Chance, what's wrong?!" I asked hurriedly. He frowned, tears still streaming down his face. "L-Lilly and I are fighting.. a-and..!" He choked out. I wrapped my arms around him, petting his hair. "Shhh.. there there little puff.. it'll be okay." I said, earning a soft chuckle out of Chance.

"You're a weirdo, Axel!" Chance jokes. I fake a frown, holding in a laugh. I pick up more snow and make another snowball. "I think you might regret calling me that, Chancey." I tease.

He smirks. "Hmmm... I don't think I will."

"I do," I say before chucking the snowball at him. It hits him on the chest and he fake falls to the ground.

"I've been shot!" He exclaims melodramatically. I chuckle, walking over to him. "Man down! Man down!" He says.

I laugh even more. "Man up, you big baby,"

"Ouch," he jokes. "Why are you being mean to me??" I shrug, helping him to his feet. "Dunno.. just felt like it."

-hello timeskip-

We make it to my house and I walk up to my door, getting stopped by Chance right before I enter my house. "Wait," he says. "I.. uhh.. had fun walking you home, Axel.."

I smile warmly at him. "I had fun, too." He smiles back at me.

He places a kiss on my forehead, making my cheeks flush bright red. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

I nod, trying to hide my flustered face. "O-Okay.." Chance notices and giggles. "Bye, Axel." He says.

"B-Bye, Chance..!"
