A night elven warrior was passing through the forests of Felwood, on his way to Shatterscar Vale, eyes watching him within the shadows. The night elven warrior looked to his side, a bear almost the size of him with large corrupted and festering wounds on the bears skin, looking rabid and wild. The warrior readied his weapon. Ralaar Fangfire put a finger on his worgen like lips, staring down at Corestra and the other Druids of the Scythe, hiding within the shadows, out of reach from sight. "Ssshhhh" He blinked, going back to observe the battle-readying warrior. The bear lunged and knocked the blade from the warriors hand and forced him to the ground. As soon as this action happened, Ralaar cried out. "Now brothers and sisters!" Ralaar leaped from behind the shadows of the fel-riddin forest, raising his claws at the corrupted bears head and slashing them across the bears neck. The warrior stared in astonishment of the worgen-like creature, Ralaar looked to his left, pointing and growling with a feral tone. "More corrupted beasts! Slay them!" Corestra stood in her night elven form, her hair a gleaming silver, her eyes a warm mystic blue, staring at the corrupted Nightstalker charging for her. Her bones began shifting, mystical blue magic swirling around Corestra as silvery fur began growing upon her, getting on all fours, assuming a wolf form. The Nightstalker growling loudly and pouncing onto Corestra in a flurry to kill its prey. Corestra mocked the felines growl with a greater growl, biting the Nightstalker with her wolfish fangs, killing the Nightstalker. Ralaar looked around him, getting up from the warrior and nodding.
Corestra sighed, staring at Ralaar, such composure and self-control, but yet the ferocity of a beast stirred within Ralaar. She was jealous. Ralaar reached out a furred sharply clawed hand for the warrior. He hesitated to take it, before reaching up and grabbing Ralaars hand to be lifted up. With that instant, not a word, not even before a gesture of appreciation, Ralaars brothers and sisters fled back into the forest, wolves and worgen living together in a pack, the night elf shook his head, confused and bewildered by such a sight.
Corestra continued to stare up at Ralaar with her jealous and frustrated eyes, back in her night elven form. "I don't understand why we must assist those Night elves. They banished us from their society for our ways of living, why should we help them? They aren't like us, Alpha Prime." Ralaar sighed deeply, the others looking between Corestra and Ralaar, a few of them muttering amongst themselves 'Here we go again'. Ralaar spoke in a soothing and suppressing tone. "We have been through this before Corestra. It was Malfurion that banished us for our ways, and I do not agree with it either, but it was his decision and he had his reasons. Those wandering Night elves had nothing to do with the decision, and we are not going to watch like heartless beasts as one of our old brothers gets slaughtered." They reached the tree in which they resided, blue waters endlessly pouring from its branches, night elven architecture protruding from the bark. Dead leaves upon the top of it. Corestra shook her head, "Well I'm tired of it, they don't deserve it! If they knew the path we chose, they'd turn away from us! Just like Malfurion did!"
Corestra walked away from the pack, sitting down upon a small slope. Staring up silently at the moon, pain and hatred in her eyes. Ralaar came up behind her, resting his hand upon her shoulder. "Corestra..." The moons light shining down upon the two. "Why the anger?" Corestra coldly shrugged Ralaars hand off. "I'm done, -Ralaar-." Corestra called him Ralaar in a mocking way, knowing how much he despised it when the pack used that name. "You are no longer my Alpha Prime, I'm going to form my own pack, a pack that won't help those who betrayed us in the past, we will work for -our- goals, and not stalking the forests to protect others goals." Ralaar Fangfire blinked, his eyes burning with fire, letting go of Corestra's shoulder, clenching his fist. "How dare you! You can't be serious about this Corestra! The wilds are a dangerous place, and you will not survive outside the pack! You cannot leave it!" Corestra shook her head. "I can Ralaar, and I am." She brushed past Ralaar, going into the camp. "For all of those wishing to not be bound by the "Alpha Primes" sympathy for the Night elves of Darnassus, follow me, and we shall create our own pack!" The Druids of the Scythe looked among each other, talking between them and nodding, most staying, two to three following Corestra as she left the camp, maybe for good. Ralaar shook his head and stared with rage. "...She'll be back, she won't survive on her own
