Christmas short story

Small update before this.
Okay first most of the big books I was working on I kinda lost inspiration in so, I'm just going to leave those there for now.
Next, I just though this would be a book where I put random stories that I think of.
This one is one of the Christmas things i did for my bell work for ELA.

     The Elephant's Christmas
      Once upon a time, there was a tree and it had ornaments in it.
At that moment an elephant walked in ready to stuff stockings, but then Santa came down the chimney.
The elephant looked at him in shock. Santa stood in front of him with a worried face.
The elephant noticed this and quickly asked what was wrong. Santa stood there in dismay and explained how his sleigh had broken and his reindeer ran off, he even said one died.
Just then a reindeer floated into the house looking angry.
Santa and the elephant looked up in terror as the reindeer started talking in small noises and then he floated to the door and ushered  them to follow.
Santa and the elephant slowly followed him into the forest where they find all the reindeer dead. Santa knelt down in the snow and said "I was prepared for this out come."
As he turned and exited the forest to go find his sleigh.
The elephant just stood there sobbing and hoping that this wasn't reality. Hoping that this wasn't his Christmas.
