Dakota had burst into laughter when I told her about my deal with the triplets  thinking that it was a joke but when she noticed that I wasn't joking her face dropped with dead seriousness.

"You can't do this!" She exclaimed with horror as she placed the cigarette to her lips again. "What if their against our gang?!" I had to admit that the thought hadn't crossed my mind. I had asked Ciara if their business was affiliated with any other gangs but not if they were particular enemies with anyone.

"Impossible," I dismissed, "She said they were local and we're too far away to enemies with the gang." She looked skeptical but dropped the subject all the same. I glanced around at my surroundings, the hay strewn wooden floorboards with old and tattered ropes hanging from the beams. I had slept with Charlie up here and for what? Relaxation? Boredom? More like a way to get Dean off my mind. I was happy though that Charlie hadn't been clingy, just moved on. Yet he always seemed to popping up with that lop-sided smile of his and a spliff at the ready.

"Have you spoken to either of them recently?" Her voice jolted me out of my thoughts and I snapped my gaze to hers. I hadn't. With all the shit with Natasha and this drug gang I hadn't had the time. A massive pang of guilt hit me in the stomach and I shook my head a little. "Neither have I. I feel like shit for it though." She admitted and I had a sudden idea. Even if I hadn't spoken to either of them recently I still felt the pain of loss and missed Dean so much that my heart ached. When Logan had quoted Dean word for word I ran away and cried for almost a half hour and even when Charlie called me Ro twice I had cried afterwards when I was on my own.

"How about we catch a bus from Oakwood to Hoarcross tomorrow, ditch that party they keep going on about?" She looked delighted at my plan and nodded eagerly. We finished up our cigarettes and coated ourselves in deodorant. We went to leave the stables but when we heard voices from beneath our perch and we hung around to listen in.

"What did Garrison say?" The familiar voice of Ciara demanded. I leant as far as I could without toppling off the ledge. I recognised the name Garrison as the Business's supplier. He was from Oakwood and ran a highly intricate system of dealing drugs. I was intrigued to say the least to discover the gossip behind her conversation.

"He gave us the surplus however he's been having trouble with a gang from further south. I think he mentioned Coventry or something. Anyway, he won't be able to provide more until at least December." A boy's voice grumbled. He sounded older than school leaving age but I assumed that it was the fellow courier whom I would be acquainted with soon enough when I was sent on my first errand.

"Are you shitting with me?! December?!" She screeched but a sharp intake of breath quickly followed her outburst. I caught sight of her and Owen perched on hay stacks, an empty black bag on the floor next to them and a huge stack of small bags of drugs between them. Owen was going through them and Ciara was scribbling something on a sheet of paper. They were taking inventory. I had seen Dean and Nate do it at least twenty times before back in Hoarcross. They continued to count out the bags out and chat about meaningless things but they both seemed distracted and their gazes would continually meet, hold for a few seconds before one of them returned to doing their work. They finally placed all the drugs back into the duffle and stood to leave, facing each other, watching each other. Owen closed the already little distance that was between them and trailed a hand down Ciara's arm. He quickly brought his lips to hers and kissed her.

"Wooh!" Dakota cheered from next to me, whooping a couple of times and fist bumping the air. Ciara sprang away looking like a deer caught in the headlights at what had just happened. The pair searched for us, looking around confusedly. "Yoohoo! Up here love birds! Don't forget to save us summa that!" Dakota waved frantically with two hands and gestured to the bag. They finally located us and Ciara's gaze met mine. I waved at her with a toothy grin and a waggle of my fingers for a wave.
