magic the gathring: my story (based on arena) --chapter 1--

as jamen Wyrmsbane walk into the sunlight of the dark shadows he came to a small arena were a circle was drawn in the mud. Jamen was inside the city of Sky stead .Outside the circle were two fighters one turquoise and the other grey. they both stood outside the circle in the neutral zone. the turquoise was a man in his 30's and had a green cape and a blue robe and grey was a woman around her 20's that had a white cloak pulled over there head where you couldn't her face. every one started to betting on turquoise jamen laugh to himself and saw the set up.he waited patiently until the crowd died down so he could bet. He walked over to the betting stand and took out a copper and said"i bet on grey" the better hesitated then said "i only take bets for turquoise" jamen put his hand in his sachel and gave the better a stern look. the better (frightend) took out a peice of wood and said one for two" jammen "no one for four" the better grumbled "one for four"then jammen walk to have a better view of the figh then the circle master came out he was a teenager. he then pronounced the rules "no diseases spell, do not harm or kill, opponent one spell only, and who ever wins gets the others spell"then he backed up and wave his hand downward to start the match. they both stood in the neutral zone calling upon there Mana.

Mana is the power source for all spells. in order for one to get this Mana one has to meditate in a domain . such as forest (green magic) graveyard (black magic) cites(white magic) mountains (red magic) the Floating islands (blue magic).as you can see if you combine colors you get new ones such as white magic and blue magic is grey magic and blue magic and blue magic combine makes turquoise magic .also when one does become one with the domain they will bring some of the soil of the domain.Spells are put on amulets scrolls or any other small material.most use amulets because if you use scrolls you have to read them and that takes too long.

turquoise was the first out the neutral zone he extended his arms and cast a goblin out. the little thing slowly trudged over to grey with a club. grey jump out of the neutral zone and extended her arms and there was a shine off light then the goblin was gone. the crowd became angry realizing the trick . turquoise ran off some where. jamen walk up to grey and said"you fight good " grey proudly said back "i know" "but are you good enough" jamen jump into the circle shouting "lets battle"
