Chapter 8

The first day of school- preparation- Captain- 5 years old

These are going to be short little stories about how the mane six would prepare their children for their first day of school. After this most chapters will have all of the children in them. Sorry for such a late update but I'm really lazy and my internet wanted to be a butt last time I tried to update. So enjoy!

"Moooom!" yelled Captain from his bedroom.

"What is it Sugarcube?" Applejack yelled back from the kitchen.

"Have you seen my school bag?"

"It's down here. I packed it already with everything you needed." she replied.

"Pheeeeew. I thought I lost it already. School doesn't even start for another week." Captian said relieved that he could always count on his mom.

"Next time don't leave it in the cart." she said, "At least this isn't as bad as when you got lost in the supply store down the street."

Flashback

"Now remember, stay next to Uncle Big Mac and Aunt Applebloom. We don't want you to get lost in here." Applejack said.

"Also tell us if you see something you might need for school that we missed." said AJ.

"Ok mom. Ok dad." replied the very excited Captain.

This was his first time shopping in town other than to sell apples at the family's apple cart. Plus it was a giant superstore that had just opened up called Crostcro.

'Why does that sound familiar? Maybe it's just me but it sounds like Costco? Naaaah, who would name a store Costco, that's absurd. Probably just my imagination.'

They entered the store and not even five minutes later the midday rush started. With all of the pushing and shoving Captain somehow was pulled away from the group before they realized what had happened. It took several hours to locate him because of the vastness of the store. Luckily, Captain was smart enough to locate the nearest security guard and tell him what happened. Applejack and AJ were terrified the entire time, which almost resulted in a nervous breakdown from Applejack, luckily Big Mac brought extra hyperventilating bags because of his claustrophobia.

"Ah'm so glad you're ok. don't ever scare me like that again, ya hear?" Applejack said.

"Yes mom." said Captain trying to keep his own emotions under control.

"Let's go home. I picked everything up while you were looking for Captain." said Big Mac.

"Thanks big bro. We were so worried about him that we completely forgot about this stuff." AJ said.

"Noooo problem." was his reply.

"Let's go pay for this stuff and get out of this place." said Applebloom.

"Agreed!" said Everyone in unison.

End of Flashback

"That's why we're never going back to Crostcro." said AJ as he entered the kitchen.

"Next time we'll just go to Twilight and Dusk and ask where we should get supplies." said Applejack.

"Agreed." said AJ.

"What's for breakfast?" asked Captain.

"Apple smoked bacon and eggs." replied Applejack.

"Hmmmm. Bacon." was all Captain could say as the smell hit his nostrils.

"What are y'all standin' around for? sit down and dig in!"

"Ok!" Said everyone.

Yeah it was short but I warned you beforehand that this would be the case. I don't quite know why but I always have trouble getting started and ending Applejack's chapters. I don't know what it is but I'm sorry it took so long to get this out to you guys. Internet, family and laziness have delayed me.

"Excuses, excuses."

Don't judge me. Just because you know the inner workings of my brain does not mean you can judge Pinkie!

"He has a tumblr and he plays poké-"

That's enough out of you!

*Ductapes her mouth shut*

"Hmmhmhnhnhmhhshmshnmshn"

Ahhhh sweet silence.
