Dear World,

It's been two weeks.

The police finally did something.

They did an investigation and found out that her dad was beating her.

He's facing life in prison.

Her mom was charged but there was no evidence against her.

I went to her funeral last week.

She was still wearing the necklace.

I held her hand. It was cold. She wasn't cold.

But she was.

I said 'hey' because I couldn't bear to say 'bye'

I kissed her forehead.

Just like she did for me.

I left before they put her in the ground. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it.

I can't explain it, no matter how hard I tried but I fell in love with the way she smiled.

Maybe one day, I'll see it again.

Maybe.

-Me

P.S. Bye World
