Judy huffed as she closed the door to her apartment pushing it closed with her back. Another long day on the force that left her paws aching and her head throbbing, but she wouldn't give it up for the world. Especially now that the media have redirected their attention to the newest hit gazelle song giving Nick and Judy a much-needed break from the Zootopia spotlight. Being constantly bombarded with the same questions and the constant flashing lights takes a toll on a person, well a bunny and a fox in this case. Both were exhausted from the constant attention, not to mention they were having to constantly save reporters that had decided to follow them on dangerous cases.

Judy sighed as she pushed herself off the door, limping towards her bed where she flopped down face first into the soft pillow that laid at the head board. She flipped slowly onto her back her entire body aching and groaning in protest. She slowly sat up and unstrapped her bullet proof vest wincing in slight pain as she did then threw it onto her desk. She then laid back down and lifted her hips off the bed to remove her belt which she also threw on the desk. She yawned, her eye lids growing heavier by the second. Less than 5 minutes after she had fallen asleep she felt a soft buzzing in her back pocket causing her to stir. With a few inaudible mutters she lifted her hips slightly off the bed and slid her phone out of her back pocket. She had to close her eyes, slowly opening them as she looked at her extremely bright screen. Holding her thumb on the center button she watched as it unlocked then she slid her finger down the screen and lowered the brightness before looking at her messages. Seeing Nicks name come up she smiled slightly. They had grown close during the Night Howler case but they had grown even closer by complaining about the constant attention from the city. Clicking on Nicks name a message popped up which Judy read. "Hey Judy. I know it is late I was just wondering if you were off tomorrow?" Judy replied back with "Yes, I am. Why?" a few moments later Nick replied back saying "I was wondering if you wanted to go chill at my parents' house on the beach, they are gone for a few weeks and said we could use it if we wanted to." Judy smiled and quickly replied back saying "Sure sounds great. I will swing by your place around 9 tomorrow morning. Now leave me alone so I can sleep" Nick replied and said "Sound great Carrots. Sleep tight." Judy silenced her phone then turned it off and plugged it into the charger next to her bed, setting her phone on the floor to charge. Before falling fast asleep she crawled under her dull green comforter and laid her had on her fluffy pillow.

Judy knocked on the door to Nick's apartment at 8:55 A.M with a tan and pale turquoise bag filled with beach supplies. She was dressed in light green flip-flops, jean shorts, and a black tank top that showed the straps of her bathing suit underneath.

"Hey Judy," Nick said as he opened the door inviting his partner inside.

"Hey Nick, thanks for letting me tag along. I am super excited" Judy smiled as she walked into the messy apartment. It was obvious Nick was a bit of a slob, but weren't all bachelors? "Maids day off?" Judy teased as she turned around to see Nick close the door.

Nicks laughed "Ya something like that, you want some coffee?"

"No thanks. I went through Chloe's Coffee Café earlier"

Nick nodded and headed towards the kitchen to grab a few thing. Judy followed stepping carefully over the clothes and trash all over the floor.

"Ya sorry about the mes but at this point you are considered a friend, which means I don't have to clean when you come over"

Judy laughed and sat in a fold out chair that was next to a small two person fold out table. Okay add redecoration to Nick's apartment on the to-do list ASAP.
