* Time jump to when they're flying to Vancouver *
Camila's POV
Since the casting party, I can't stop thinking about Kj. He was from New Zealand, he had a hot accent and he was a total gentleman.
I'm on my way to Vancouver and I'm about to board the plane.They check my passport and my ticket and then I board, I find my seat and put my headphones in as I wait for the flight to start, I've always hated flying so I try to distract myself.
I close my eyes as I listen to music but I open them again when I feel someone sit beside me.
I turn and see KJ.
"Hey, Kj" I say
"Hey, this is your seat too?"
"Yeah it is"
"Great, now I'll have some company" he says.
The plane is about to take off, my heart starts beating faster, my hands clammy. I look out the window and look back at my feet, trying not to focus on the plane speeding up.
"Not of fan of flying?" Kj asks looking at me, I look up at him.
"I've always hated the plane, I hate flying." I tell him
"Don't focus on the sound of the engine, focus on my voice." I do as he says, I feel the plane taking off, I grab his hand interlocking it with mine. I close my eyes and squeeze Kj's hand.
"It's not so bad when you have somebody to hold your hand." He says smiling at our hands that are still interlocked. I think about how many times I've been on a plane with Ian, he never helps calm me down. We finally land in Vancouver,
"it's snowing" I say smiling
"Hope you packed a sweater to change into" he says looking down at the outfit I'm wearing. I was wearing leggings and a cropped grey long sleeve.
"I didn't think it would be snowing" I say looking out the window.
"You didn't check the weather" KJ says laughing
"Here, I always pack an extra hoodie" he says handing me a red pull over.
"Thanks Kj" I say taking it from him putting it on.
We get off the plane, walking over to where you pick up our luggage. An older couple stops us and smiles
"Young love, remember those days" she say holding hands with her husband.
"Oh no...we're not-" the older lady cuts me off,
"I know love when I see it dear, you may not think about him that way yet. But you just wait." She says walking past me, she stops and looks at Kj.
"You hold on to that one, don't let her go" she whispers loudly to him. The older couple takes off, leaving the two of us in aw of what just happened. We laugh, we don't talk about what just happened and we continue walking to our luggage. We get our bags, and we see Cole and Lili.
"Hey girlie" I say giving her a hug
"Did you two come together?" She asks looking and Kj and me.
"We didn't plan it, but our seats were next to each other." He says smiling at me,
"Cami, our driver is here!" Lili says putting her backpack on.
"See you guys tomorrow" we say to Kj and Cole.
Lili and I are sharing a two bedroom apartment, Kj and Charles are sharing. Cole has his own and Madeline is living with her boyfriend .
We arrive to our apartment, and we start unpacking. It's a nice all white kitchen, open living room, two bedroom, two bathroom and a wrap around balcony.
"We're roomies" Lili said jumping up and down.
"You're still wearing Kj's hoodie I see" she says smiling. I smile until my phone starts to ring, it's Ian.
"Hey,I just was about to call you. We just got to our apartment, it's so nice, you would love it. I say
"I told you to call me when you landed, babe. I was worried" he says
"I'm sorry, it slipped my mind."
"It's fine."
"Baby, the food is ready!" some girl says on his line.
"Who is that?" I ask
"Oh it's just a movie, I gotta go. But I'll call you later"
He says hanging up. I look up at Lili, she obviously was listening, I had him on speaker.
"Cami don't think he's cheating..." lili said wrapping her arms around my neck, hugging me from behind.
"How long have you guys been together?" She asks
"We've been friends for over two years, but we've been dating for over a year. It's just I have a feeling lils, that he might be with this one girl named Charlotte. She kissed him, a few months ago but he told me." I tell her
"Let's order some pizza and finish unpacking, I'm sure he'll call you after". I hear a knock from the door, Lili answers "hey guys, come on in" she says.
I come out of my room, to see Charles and Kj.
"Hey Cami" Kj and Charles say waving
"Hey guys" I say and smile back.
I sit on the couch, while Lili and the boys talk in the kitchen. I just didn't feel like being around anyone,
"Hey, Cami, the pizza is here" Lili says waving me over to take a slice. I walk over only because she ordered my favourite.
"Comfy sweater isn't it" Kj says smiling at me, I look down and I realize I'm still in his hoodie.
"Oh I didn't even realize, you can have it back" I say about to take it off.
"No you keep it, it looks better on you" he says smiling down at me. I finish my pizza and my phone starts to ring, it was my best friend from LA, Rachel.
"Hey girl, how's Vancouver?" She asks
"Good, just settling in" I say
"I have some news about Ian, after you called me about him. I went to Charlotte's condo, and Ian's there, I saw his car. Babe I'm sorry, I think he's cheating." She says
"I figured, I'll talk to you later. Thank you Rachel" I say hanging up, I could feel the tears rolling down my face. I could feel Kj's eyes following me into my room. I just the door and start to cry. Someone was knocking at my door,
"Cami, can I come in" Kj asked from the other side of the door, I didn't answer.
"I heard about Ian", I open the door and let him in.
He sees my mascara running and my eyes filled up with tears. He doesn't say anything he just hugs me. I wrap my arms around him.
"Cam, he doesn't realize what he has, how lucky he is, he doesn't deserve you." He says kissing my forehead. I didn't say anything back, I just hugged him. I'm glad Kj is here. If I'm being honest I wouldn't want anyone else here.
