Before anything is said this is an au were Jeremy isn't Jewish, so please don't comment "Jeremy is Jewish and wouldn't blah blah blah". This is mostly because I celebrate Christmas and have no idea about Hanukkah or any Hanukkah traditions and I don't want to offend anyone that does celebrate Hanukkah. Thank you enjoy the holiday special. Happy holidays.
Jeremy's POV
Michael and I just got done wrapping all the presents Santa brought for Luca and Amila. I was just crawling in to bed and heading to sleep.
"First Christmas with Luca, his first Christmas ever. I'm glad we adopted him before the holidays" Michael whispered as he looks into Lucas second crib which was just Mia's old one, that we put in our room till he gets older.
"Come on Michael, let him sleep. If you wake him up you're putting him back to sleep and you'll have to sleep on the couch again. You always wake him up, you did the same thing with Mia when she was a baby. You don't always have to hold them Michael, give the boy some space" I whisper back at him. He clamped into bed next to me and held me close. We soon fell asleep only to be woken up hours later by Mia.
"Daddy, Papa, wake up its Christmas" she whisper yelled not to wake her brother.
"Okay honey we're up" I say sitting up, Michael still not wanting to get up tried to hide under his pillow.
"I'll wake up Luca, you get papa" I say getting up and gently waking up Luca by picking him up softly. He woke up and smiled at me.
"Go ahead and wake papa Mia" I say as I exited the room as Mia jumped on the bed.
"Come on Papa, It's Christmas!" I heard her say from the living room. I could tell Mia has been awake for a while, she got her stocking down and I'm guessing the bowl in the sink is hers because the sink was empty last night. Soon Michael and Mia walked out of the room and Mia ran to her presents. She waited as we all sat on the floor in a circle for president opening. Once we all sat down, Mia grabbed a present for Luca and handed it to him.
"Since it's his first Christmas, he should open one of his presents first" Mia said showing her baby brother how to rip the wrapping paper. He soon got a hang out it and opened his gift which was a stuffed black and gray cat. He held it close to him and giggled, making me and Michael smile. The kids took turns opened their gifts and Luca fell asleep, then Mia handed me a gifted in a small bag.
"It's for both of you, we made them at school" she said. We opened it to see a Christmas ornament shaped like a snowflake with Mia's picture in the middle.
"I designed the snowflake" Mia said.
"It's beautiful honey, we love it" Michael said as he placed it on the tree. The Mia grabbed two wrapped boxes from the back of the tree. She then handed one to me and the other to Michael. I opened mine first to see a homemade key hook with four hearts on it, one blue, one red, one magenta and the smallest one was teal. It had four key hooks on it that were made from pencils painted the same colors as the hearts, the back of it was made out of cardboard but it was thick and sturdy.
"You're always looking for your keys daddy, so I made it so you wouldn't lose your keys anymore" Mia explained, I gave my sweet little girl a big hug and a kiss on he head.
"I love it Mia, thank you" I say.
"Your welcome daddy, papa open yours" the girl said with excitement. Michael opened his to see a drawing of our family, Michael was red, I was blue, Mia was magenta and Luca was teal. The drawing was even in a frame.
"You don't have a family photo with Luca in in at you office on your desk so I made you one, I found the frame in the attic when I was playing" Mia said. Much looked as if he was going to cry, and to be honest I probably did too. Our little girl was so sweet to everyone, and has really accepted having Luca come into the picture.
"I love it baby girl, your drawing is really good. I'm going to hang it on the wall of my office so everyone can see" Michael said giving the girl a hug. Luca started to wake up with slight crying. I picked him up holding him close, I assume that he's hungry so I made him a bottle and feed him. I burp him and he went back to playing with his new toys and his sister. Mia was great at keeping Luca occupied and she loved playing with him. Then it came time for me and Michael to exchange gifts. I gave him mine first, he opened it to see a black ukulele, I know he's broke when we first moved in to this house after we adopted Mia and that he missed playing it.
"Jeremy it's beautiful, thank you so much baby" he said before handing his to me. I opened the wrapping paper to see a bisexual pride flag but something was wrapped in it, I took it out of the back and took the flag off the item. It was an old PS2, with several games including apocalypse of the damned, crash, and other classic games.
"Michael, where did you find this?" I asked as my eyes lit up.
"My mom found it in the attic and she sent to me, I thought it would bring back some good memories. I ordered the flag off line, I already have my gay flag hanging in our room, you need your bi flag" Michael said. I pulled him into one of the biggest hugs ever. I started to kiss his face all over.
"Thank you so much, wait it's the same PS2 we had when we were kids? That means we can't finally beat AOTD!" I say with excitement. The rest of the day was spent with me and Michael teaching our kids about the best game in the world followed by pizza and candy. The kids fell asleep in our arms when we were all cuddling on the couch watching on of the movies Mia got. We were all wrapped in a blanket with Mia holding he brother close to her, which was adorable.
"Merry Christmas Michael, I love you" I say.
"Merry Christmas Jere-bear, I love you too" Michael said kissing my head lightly.
