I open my eyes. My vision is blurry, my ears are ringing, and my throat burns. I blink twice, unable to see. I take a deep breath through my nose inhaling the metallic smells from the humid air in the seemingly empty room. I brush the hair from my face and a wet knife drops from my hand. The sound of metal clanging to the concrete floor sent a stinging pain through my ears. My vision begins to clear and I look down at my feet in horror. There she laid, her eyes still wide with fear. Her face still tense with dread. Her blood still pouring out rapidly through the many open stab wounds that covered her torso. The muscles in my legs weaken and I fall into the pool of blood forming at my feet. I hear muffled footsteps approaching and I try to turn my head but my vision quickly goes blank and my consciousness fades rapidly.
