Manan woke up in the morning and found themselves in each others arms. Both felt awkward at their position. Just then they heard a knock on door. So they tried to straighten themselves and look presentable. They heard person on other side struggling with the lock of door followed by cute whine of frustration. Both of them chuckled knowing who was on the other side.

Manik got up and opened the door and the little bunny peaked in side cutely.

Both smiled on her expressions. Kia saw Manik and hugged his legs.

Kia : molnig Dada

Manik picked her and kissed her cheek : morning baccha.

Manik carried her to Nandini and made her stand on bed. Kia pulled Manik on bed as well.

Three of them sat and Kia started her chatter box. She made Manan forget about all the worries.

Kia : dada can I go to school today?

Manik : no baby for next 4-5 days you won't be going to the school.

Kia : Yuppie chutti

Nandini : school ko chutti does not mean chutti for studies as well Missy. You will have to complete the studies at home which you will miss in school

Kia made cute sad pout : Otay (Ok)

Nandini : Good Girl. Now go take bath and let Mumma also freshen up.

Kia nodded and jumped down from bed and ran towards door she stumbled near door making Manan shout careful at her. Kia just gave sheepish grin 😁 and ran away.

Manan smiled seeing her. Manik turned towards Nandini.

Manik : Nandu I know you are still angry and hurt from yesterday's incident but please please don't leave me alone.

Nandini stared at him painfully because of his plead to her to stay. She still thought that Manik is just saying it all because of Kia.

But suddenly something else just clicked in her mind and she exclaimed : Manikkk

Manik thought that she is refusing his request and going away making him a bit angry.

Manik : Enough Nandini here I'm begging and requesting you to stay and you are being stubborn. Even if you are feeling like leaving you can't. Media is on our tail. Kia is too small to witness any more drama than she already has seen, she is already traumatised and here you are being stubborn....

Nandini gave him a blank look : I was going to talk about something else Manik.  And yes I'm staying here so please stop screaming like an over dramatic teenager girl.

Manik heaved a sigh of relief hearing first part of her sentence and later made an complaining pout when she called him a over dramatic teenager girl. Nandini saw his adorable expressions and couldn't control but laugh heartily.

Manik just stared with all love at her laughing form with a content smile.

Soon Nandini composed herself and was back to serious mode.

Manik : sorry

Nandini : that's ok Manik. I wanted to tell you something very important from a few days but events after events happening in our lives I couldn't find the right time to tell you about this.

Manik : ok tell me what's the matter.

Nandini : Manik I think I should tell this in presence of your father as he also has equal right to know about it but I'm worried Manik.

Manik : worried about what ?

Nandini : I'm worried that maybe you guys will not believe me.

Manik : what nonsense nandu I trust you the most. I know you would never do anything wrong. So just cut out all the worries and tell me what is it?
