Chapter 3

Hashirama p.o.v ~ when he is revived.

We had finished talking and were about to leave for the battlefield when I realized something about the fourth hokage.

"Fourth, are you by any chance a Namikaze?" I ask causing Tobirama to look at the fouth hokage. Hiruzen and the fourth both looked surprised to hear me ask.

"Now that you mention it, he does look alot like the Namikazes we met, alot like Arashi and Kaiyo, along with their son Hikari," Tobirama said and I nodded in agreement. Everyone in the room except myself and Tobirama looked either confused of shocked.

"Yes I am a Namikaze, are you telling me that you knew my ancestors? I'm sorry if this offends you in anyway, but I'm the last Namikaze along with my son," The fourth says and our eyes go wide.

"Thats not possible! The Namikaze were a thriving clan. Strong willed and only second to the Uzumaki clan in sealing!" I sputter out.

"I'm sorry to say this, but, the Uzumaki clan was massacred during the third shinobi war, my wife being one of the very few left," the fourth said leaving myself and even Tobirama flabbergasted.
"My son is the only known Uzumaki left along with Namikaze. He is also the current nine tails jinchuuriki and clan heir to both clans," the fourth said. At least theres hope for the two clans....

"By the way fourth hokage, I never learned your name," I say calming down.

"Its Minato Namikaze, my son is Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze," he says and both Tobirama snd I blink in surprise. Both names being familiar.

"I guess your parents named you after your fathers grandfather, Minato Namikaze. What I don't get is how you could have gotten inspiration to name your son Naruto when you had no clue of your heritage," Tobirama said and I placed a hand on my chin thinking. Minato gave us a confused look.

"I named him after a character from my sensei's first book," he said and I gavd him a shocked look.

"You have no clue of what were talking about? I would think this was documented in the Uchiha library. Your great uncle, Naruto Namikaze, was the soulmate of Madara Uchiha, how do people not know this?" I ask getting shocked looks from everyone except Hiruzen and Tobirama.

"That would be my doing, I had asked if I could borrow those records to have them properly documented, not long after someone set my desk on fire trying to burn the tower down but was successful as the fire was put out and in the end the documents were destroyed and I couldn't remember what they said," Hiruzen said sighing. I shook my head in dismay.

"Naruto was the one who kept Madara in line, to think his death would eventually cause a war, I know that it was because Naruto must have dead since to Madara, Naruto was his everything, he would cross oceans to see him one last time, he would sacrifice the world  for him," I say and get shocked looks from them even Tobirama. I had been the closest to Madara, and it was because of my daughters relationship with a Namikaze that caused me to grow close to Naruto, which lead to him and Madara meeting in there mid twenties.

"We should get going to stop Madara from having his plans succeed," Tobirama said and we all nod finally leaving. I almost teared up at the sight of Konoha destroyed but now is not the time to cry, there is a war going on.

Time skip to the battlefield.

We jumped onto the field and I looked around at the chaos of this war.

"Hashirama! I've been waiting for you!!" I turn to Madara and point at him. I heard someone huff in annoyance somewhere to my right.

"I'll take you on later!" I yell back at him his face fell from the previous grin.

"................hn," was all I got out of him afterwards. I turned back to the battle and took another look around and saw Minato talking with another blonde who I can only guess is his son.

Naruto p.o.v

"Dad I should probably tell you this. Last year on March 5th I got my memories from my previous life," I say and Dad gives me a sceptical look that told me he doesn't believe me. I let out a huff of annoyance for two reasons, one because Madara is shouting at Hashirama for a fight and two because I have to tell my Dad this.

"Prove it," Dad said in a slightly playful tone that I roll my eyes at.

"March 5th was the day of my funeral and I died on the 23rd of Feburary tecnically 101 years ago," I say causing Dads eyes to go wide. He looked to be remembering something.

"Were you by any chance named what you are now?" Dad asked sounding spooked. I give him a confused look and give him a nod.
"Before myself and the other hokages got here we were talking about my heritage and it lead into talks of Naruto Namikaze my great uncle and your great great uncle, which lead into him being Madaras soulmate. Tell me the truth are you or are you not the reincarnation of Madaras soulmate, therefore making or not making you his soulmate?" Dad asks quietly and my eyes widen in shock, he really is as smart as they say. I look away awkwardly and try to find the right words to say, when I look back at Dad I knew my eyes say it all. He pulls me into a tight hug.
"He better treat you like an angel or I'm killing him," Dad says in my ear causing me to try and hide my laughter.

"Not if I kill him first, I swear even in my past life he was like this," I say making it Dads turn to hide his laughter while I smiled.
"Don't Dad I'll stop Madara, he knows who I am so I won't come out of this in a body bag," I say and I could tell that Dad was smiling and so was I.

"Minato, we have to stop the ten tails, stop hugging your son and help out," I heard an all to familiar voice and smiled at Jiji which caused him to smile right back at me. I could tell Madara was keeping an eye on me.

"Its good to see ya Jiji, never thought I would get the chance," I say giving him a hug that didn't last long. As I pulled away one of the beasts the ten tails made rushed me. I heard gasps and all I could do was sigh. I easily kicked the thing away and it went flying across the field and crash landed.
"Its stupid to just rush someone head on and actually succeed," I say. I hear Sakura snicker.

"Naruto if I remember correctly that was always your go to strategy when we were younger," Sasuke says smirking causing me to growl. I turn to him and point my finger at him.

"THATS CAUSE IT WORKED FOR ME!!! Or have you forgotten who beat Haku and who passed out," I say smirking making him growl. We smash head and growl at each other, thats til Sakura smashed out heads together.

"Team seven never changes..." I here Kakashi mutter and I shot him a glare.
