~Brandons' POV~
I kept my attention focused on the path ahead. The scents of prey was everywhere, but I already had two plump squirels in my jaws. I hope this is enough to make up for yesterday... I saw the clearing loom in front of me. A white and ginger tom leaped in front of me. "AHHH!" I yelped, dropping my catch. "Ha, gotcha." "What the balls Adam?! You scared me out of my fur!" He did nothing but walk away with laughter as I took my prey to the prey-heap. 7 other peices of prey. That's good. We will need it all for the battle. All I could hope for was that the power of us three can bring us through.
~Ians' POV~
I stood watching the river go by me. After Husky stepped down from leader to be a warrior again, I had the whole clan on my shoulders. The river did nothing but bring back memories and nightmares.
Thunder roared through the forest as 3 kits struggled through the ferns of this unknown territory along a river. We need shelter, The eldest one thought. Sadly, going along the river was a horrible idea. They were thrown into the foaming waters in a bundle of paws and tails. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I didn't know where my friends were, were I was, or my name alone. Pain seared in my head. I can't see!! He felt himself being pulled out of the freezing waters and opened one eye, to see a tom that was his soon to be best friend, Lancey.
