Maddison POV
It's the first day of school and I already feel like crap. I want to spend my 6 hours playing Zelda or eating a tub of cookies and cream ice cream instead of jail like wtf?!. I get up dragging from heaven of my bed to the cold tiled floor in the bathroom I took a shower ,brushed my teeth,and started to pick out my outfit a nice pair of black converse, oversized gray shirt,and gem, my lucky sweatpants. I prepared for my school items since I'm a person that does something at the last minute and is also 99.9% screwed.
"Knock, Knock"
"Who's there?. "I replied
"Uh, your mother who else would ya thought." Mom said.
"Oh, um, hi I guess?" I replied
"Ooh, I'm just excited today it's your first day of school, last year at Waywards new friends,old friends, probably a Romeo at the end." Mom said
Yeah that's sooo great having to try and meet people when I just stay to my introverted lonely but with 3 friends to myself." I replied
"Maddy I just want you to socialize more that's all." Mom said.
"Well mom you know socializing is not my forte." I replied
"I know, i know, just try for me, please." Mom said
I gestured a thumbs up
"Yea,now go down stairs and eat we have good 35 minutes on our hands." Mom said.
In the car
"Sooo." Mom says awkwardly.
"Sooo." I replied
"You still having a little crush on za-." Mom said
"Out of all conversations we talk about this one mom?" I interrupted
"Hey, atleast it's not auntie Jillian's empathetic sorrow stories about her bum husband." Mom replies
"True." I replied back.
"Besides you need to make a move I'm tired of you guys having awkward moments when you guys are alone." Mom says
"I know it's just that what if he is taken." Mom says.
"Well you don't know that.....yet, your just putting more thoughts on your mind to have a stress extravaganza." Mom says.
"Your right I'll try." Mom says.
"That's my girl, just don't pressure yourself to it just flow with it." Mom says.
"Right, flow with it." I chuckled.
"Well it's time for you t-." Mom says
"Go to hell and learn some survival tips off people, sure." I interrupted.
"I was going to say have a marvelous day but if that's your definition then yea." Mom says.
I walked out of the car taking a good ol' time to myself until I saw my best buddies.
