The customer pocketed the change money while exiting the cafe. It was getting dark outside, which meant it was almost time for the rendez-vous. He took a good breath of warm May air before following the sidewalk towards the metro entrance. It would take ten minutes to get to the designated spot

He surfaced on the other side a bit later than anticipated. The train stalled for a good fifteen minutes because of a door malfunction. He was running late; only five minutes before the call.
He tried speed-walking but ended up just running. The rising moon was lighting his path up, which the man was thankful for.He finally came to a stop when he reached a dark alley between two apartment blocks. He walked into the shadow until he arrived at THE spot: an isolated abandoned parking area that now served as a trash disposal. He looked around to see pairs of shining blue, yellow and grey eyes looking at him from the corners of the place. It was time.
"Greetings, brothers. Sorry for making you wai---"
"Shush Hallmer, change and then we'll talk", said a grumbling voice.
"Alright, wait a sec'"
He closed his eyes and immediately felt the transformation. He got closer to the ground, bowed to get on all fours, his limbs shortened and got all hairy. His ears morphed and got pointy, his face shrunk and grew more hair, his pupils became slitsomt and his vision changed.
"Meow meow, there you go, Walter."
The man named Hallmer was no more. A brown and white, yellow eyed cat stood in his place, gazing over the group composed of twenty-three more of his kind. Walter, a tuxedo breed, stood in front of him, in the middle of the crowd:
"Now that every one is here, let us start the meeting..."
