Chapter Fifteen- Surpise

Melody's POV

Thudding on the door woke me from my nap. I'm not feeling the best today.

Drowsily I made my way to the door while wiping the sleep from my eyes before opening the door. I saw Julia standing there bright eyed and bushy tailed.

"Are you ok sweetie?" Julia asked while walking inside.

"Yeah I'm ok I just have one of my really bad tension headaches." I don't know why I always let myself run out of migraine tablets.

"Do you have anything for it?" Julia spoke while putting her hand on my forehead to see if it was hot. I know I'll be fine as soon as I get rid of this stupid headache.

"No I ran out." Rubbing my temples with my fingers. I tried to release some of the tension.

Julia hopped up while heading to the kitchen coming back with a cold glass of water. She handed it to me along with two tablets.

"Take these sweetie they are good for migraines. Then I want you to go and hop in the shower. Make sure to dress in something comfortable because I want to take you somewhere if your up for it."

Taking the tablets while finishing the water I got up so I could take a shower. I think it will be good for me to get out of the house.

"Sure I won't be long." She gave me a big smile while she shooed me away.

Once the warm water hit my skin I felt my muscles start to relax. I only needed to freshen up quickly seeing as its my second shower today.

Once I dried myself and wrapped a giant towel around myself. I made my way to my closet.

Picking out a pair of tights and a lose brown singlet with a cardigan. After I got dressed I put my hair up in a messy bun before I put my shoes on.

Giving Hoover a gentle pat before I made my way downstairs. I realised the tablets helped a lot. My head is only aching a little bit now.

"You look much better already sweetie are you ready to go?" Julia spoke while hopping up.

"Yeah I'm ready I just have to make sure that Hoover has food and water while I'm gone."

"Ok honey I'll meet you in the car."

Filling up how water bowl and food. I made sure the doggy door to the back yard was open so that Hoover could go outside when he needs to.

Grabbing my phone and handbag I walked out then jumped into the car with Julia.

"So where are we going?"

"It's a surprise sweetie." Great my mind is bound to go into over drive. Don't get me wrong I love surprises for the most part but it makes my mind go wild.

"Let's play a game to keep us busy? " Julia suggested while tapping her fingers on the steering wheel after turning the music down.

"What game?" I love playing card games. Jumping excitedly in my seat.

"Would you rather." ohhhh this game always gets kind of crazy when I play.

"Ok you go first." I spoke in excitement.

"Would you rather live in the wilderness far from civilization or live on the streets of a city as a homeless person?"

That's a hard one I found always act like Robin Hood the kids one. Money for the poor while moving a metal cup around, but I also feel sorry for all the homeless people.

Makes me realise even more that there is people out there worse off then me.
