2F CROWN GAME

"This test was hard indeed. A lot of teams didn't make it up here." Lexin commented, scanning the room. "But there are more here than I thought. It looks like over 20 teams." He paused. "The break is almost over. I should go to the bathroom."

"Ok, got it." I told him.

I watched him walk away.

"Hey, lucky girl! You passed this one too!"

I looked up in confusion.

A boy with tousled blonde hair and bright green eyes stood in front of me. He had a mole on his right cheek, just below his eye. He was wearing a light green dress shirt and a dark green tie.

"Hey, you're teammates with Remi Jahad, the princess, right?" I recalled seeing him during Lero's test.

"Yup." He smiled, extending his hand towards me. "My name is Eurasia Carlisle Pierse, but you can call me Carlisle. Or Carl. Or Lisle. Uh, well, no one calls me Lisle...but I mean, I just wanted to give you a large variety of names to choose from..."

I laughed. "I'll just call you Carlie."

"Pretty sure that's a feminine name." He frowned. "I'll have you know that I'm a very manly man."

I snorted. "Manly man?"

"Don't judge my fabulousness."

I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. I took hold of his hand, shaking it. "I'm Annlai Lynn, but you can call me Annlai."

"I'll call you Annie!" Carlisle grinned, his eyes sparkling.

I couldn't help but smile. "Alright."

"What's his name?" Carlisle asked, pointing to Alixtair.

"Khun Alixtair." I told him.

Carlisle's expression turned dark for a moment, before he brightened up again. "Wow, a member of the Khun family, huh?" A smile spread across his face. "I'm from the Eurasia family."

Alixtair flinched, glaring at him.

"He's not very friendly." I explained to Carlisle.

"I can see that." He laughed.
