3. A Sunrise

~Y/N'S POV~

I woke up at 5:30 AM, "Phew, 3 hours of the sleep. New record, can't wait to start training."

As usual, I got into some comfortable training clothes and went into the kitchen.  The kitchen had six ovens, two microwave, at least four coffee makers, and two refrigerators. Opening one of the refrigerator's door, I grabbed an apple then started to explore the tower.

After a half an hour in, I heard a set of footsteps coming behind me. As soon as they got close enough I grabbed the person's wrist and flipped them on their back, putting my foot on their throat.

"Move and I step on your throat and kill you." I threated.

"I surrender! Don't hurt me!" Peter said quickly, putting his hands up.

"Oh, it's just you. Sorry Peter." I put my foot away from Peter' throat and then helped him up, "What are you doing up anyway? It's a Saturday, you don't have any school today and you don't start training till 8."

"I don't know why I got up so early, I guess I wanted to see the sunrise." Peter said sheepishly. 

"Oh." I hadn't even noticed that the sun hasn't risen yet, "I think they'll be very beautiful. I never seen before though."

"That's sad." Peter looked down then back at me, "I want to show you! C'mon!"

Peter grabbed my hand and we ran towards the stairs. As we ran up the stairs, I thought to myself, why use the stairs? 

Once we got to the roof, the sun had started to rise. It was beautiful, I was overjoy by the beauty.

"It's.... Beautiful." I smiled softly, "I can't believe how beautiful it is."

Peter chuckled lightly, "I know, I thought the same thing the first time I saw one."

"Its amazing how something so beautiful stays so pretty. Its also amazing how humans see this every morning." I smiled.

"I know, wait what? Humans?" Peter started to worry.

"Hehe, I do that. I sometimes forget I'm around normal humans." I nub the back of my neck.

"But you're a human." Peter tilted his head.

I shrugged. I just shrugged.

Peter gave me a 'WTF' face, "Um. Okay."

"We should get in now. And Peter, get more rest. I'll cover for you." I smiled.

"Okay! Thanks Y/N, I'll try." Peter yawned and went into the building.

"That was really nice of you to do that. How did you know that he was having trouble sleeping?" Loki stepped out of the shadows and sat next to me.

"I have the same problem. Might as well help the kid." I explained.

"Like I said, that's really nice of you. I tried helping him once but these people thought I was going to brain wash the kid." Loki looked down.

"Of course they thought that you going to brain wash him, they haven't learned to trust you yet, I mean you almost took over the world. It's going to take awhile." I explain, "I know how it is. Really I do. I use to love my gift a lot, but then people started getting scared of me, so I stopped using them. Now, I have no control over my powers."

"Midgard can be a cruel place. Everyone is being treated differently by their skin color, who they love, if they have powers  and much more." Loki gets up and offers his hand to me, "C'mon. Let's get to training and maybe some missions."

I smile as I take his hand, him pulling up, "Thank you Loki."

"It's what any gentleman would do." Loki smiled softly and started walking towards the door to the tower.

As I caught up, I heard that two different needed both of us. "Thanks again Loki." I got on tippy toes and kiss his cheek.

"No.. No problem." He stutters, while he face goes red as a tomato, "Goodbye Y/n."

I waved to him as I walk towards the voice, it led me to a room with almost all of the Avengers in the room. All eyes directed on me as soon I got into the room.

"Guys? Why are you all acting weird." I started to panic, "Is everything alright?"

Suddenly, there was a flash and all the Avengers were closer to me with their weapons withdraw. I saw that the two missing people were smirking at me.

"Guys, this isn't you!" I screamed.

The flash happened again, the two people, who were Loki and Peter, were still smirking at me and the Avengers got even closer. I turned and tried to open the door but there was no door to be seen. I kept turning, trying to find a door, heck even a wall.

"Give up." Loki's voice was distorted, "Give up."

I turned and ran. Just ran, but no matter how fast I ran I could still hear Loki's and Peter's distorted voices chanting, "Give up."

Suddenly, I bumped into a woman with short black hair.

"Miss? Where are we? Can you help me?" I kept asking questions as I got up.

The woman had on a flower dress and she had turned around, her eyes were all black.

I let out a sharp gasp and tried to step back, only to be caught by the Avengers.

"Do not be alarmed my child, I am The Woman In The Flower Dress. Do not fear me, I am on your side." The woman spoke and puts both of her hands on my checks, "Do not fear me, I am on your side. Give up!"

After the woman had screamed that, everyone expect for you started to melt until nothing was left. After everyone had melted I started to fall, fall down into the abyss of blackness.

"Wake up! Wake up Y/n!" A voice had screamed at me, their face was too blurry to see.

"Huh?" At first I was blinded by the lights but then I saw that I was on the floor, the person who was screaming at me was Bucky, "What happened?"

"You walked in here, your eyes turned black, which is creepy but cool, and then you fall." Clint explained.

My eyes widen as I realized that what I saw was a dream, but it felt so real. "How long have I been out?"

"An hour, love." Loki helped me up, "Let's get you to bed."

"Thanks..." I was so shaken up, I was still shaking on my way to my room.

Loki pulled the blanket over me when I got into my bed, "Get some rest, love. "

He got up and started walking to the door, until I spoke up, "Can you stay? I'm a little shaken up." 

He smiled softly, then nodded. Sitting down, he pulled out a book. That was the last thing I saw before I drifted off to sleep.
