I know I'm not worthy
I know you snicker behind my back.
I definitely don't wear a jersey.
I can't form a plan of attack.
You have pushed me down
You have made me weak.
Because of you, I often wear a frown
At least once of twice a week.
But a new day will come
And I will smile wider than ever before
My heart will sing to the beat of the drum
Like the old stories lore.
My story will go on
In the light of the dawn.
